Having reviewed the Ji Japanese restuarant which is part of the Tugu hotel, I feel I have to add my 2 cents about this place as this restaurant is also attached to the Tugu hotel here in Lombok. Wow!!! The place is so dramatic and filled with antiques from Java. The massive A frame "joglo" style canopy is supported by concrete columns that are fashioned into statues that look too cool to describe. There is the beach just past tan amazing pool. There is no words to describe how it feels to be here now. I don't have to eat anything to have enjoyed my meal. Actually breakfast was very good and I normally dont eat breakfast as I practice intermittent fasting.
The whole experience was amazing. With one exception, the waiter stayed 3 meters away with his mask on while taking my order.... it's a sign of the times but how unpleasant. I heard people in Lombok are not friendly like Bali.... maybe this is what they meant. Or maybe, I'm too sensitive and the waiter was exercising caution on my behalf. The latter is probably more likely.
Come here, it is super cool place to...
Read moreThe first time I came here was last November. I stopped by for a coffee, and was amazed that there's such a beautiful yet antique restaurant like this in Lombok, inside a 5 star resort like Tugu. Coffee was nice, the dessert was delicious. Second time I came was in February for my birthday. A group of staff coming with traditional music instrument to give me birthday surprise after my partner told the waiter about my birthday. Not only coming with cute lava cake, they also give me a home-made tropical bouquet. All about this place is 5 stars, and you can feel it even from the entrance. Antique collection are all over the place, even the resort architecture itself is antique design, giving a classic and luxury vibe. F&B was tasty, staff are super helpful, service and creativity is undoubtedly top notch, the view is amazing, overlooking the...

I thoroughly enjoyed every meal at Hotel Tugu Lombok's Bale Kokok Pletok. The setting, with its stunning view of the calm beach, truly represents paradise itself. The food is authentically delicious, with every dish exceeding expectations. Prices are reasonable, and the warm, attentive service made the experience even better. I can't forget how incredible the local dishes tasted. Honestly, I can say that every meal was exceptionally good.
I highly recommend you come and try it for yourself! The location is a bit secluded, with no big advertisements for the restaurant, but now that North Lombok is becoming more popular, it’s a place you absolutely...
