THE WORST BEACH CLUB I’VE EVER BEEN TO!

-Admin whatsapp doesn’t speak English -Staff try to corrupt and take advantage of the situation! I came there for after party MotoGP last Sunday. admin said on whatsapp it’s free to get in and just need to buy food & drink inside. Me and my girl came and staff in the entrance asked for enterance fee is 1mill/ person (that’s only the fee and can’t be exchange with food & beverages) and at the end they change their mind after seeing us two girls dressing up well so they let us pass. Which is clearly if we agree to pay they will put the money in their pocket probably My friends bought a table for 2,5mill at the receptionist they said it’s included 1 bottle & soft drinks. They assisted us to the table and we waited for 20min till they send the soft drinks. 2 staff told us to wait for the bottle. After 40mins of waiting they haven’t sent the bottle we ordered. We couldn’t wait any longer until we asked to the staff for the 3rd time and guess what he said, HE SAID THAT WE HAVE TO SPEND 5mill INSTEAD OF 2,5mill TO GET THE BOTTLE. SO WE BASICALLY PAY 2,5mill JUST FOR SOFT DRINKS LOL 😂 Then we paid another 2,5 and get a bottle of gin tonic -music is really loud! I feel like watching a concert instead of enjoying a beach club and the MUSIC SUCKS! -Staff lacks of knowledge of what they tryna sell!

Can give this place a miss. Started off great with a very hospitable girl at the front desk and we got ourselves a daybed. Minimum spend of 50,000rupiah for a max of 4 pax; which was very okay!

Place was almost empty on a weekday - less than 20 customers all around.

Ordered food and drinks and they came in good time. Calamari were great but there were only 5 pieces. Pizza was undercooked (dough was still wet) and the satay was cold and hard (as if it was from the day before. Could have at least heated them up if so). Had to send back and get a new plate and even so, we didn’t finish the food even though we were hungry cuz it was just too terrible. Staff didn’t know what to do at first when we feedback about the food. Lack of training.

There was a white guy (whom we think is the manager) as one of the staff and we expected a little bit more finesse from him but unfortunately zero customer service. Didn’t apologize, no eye contact, no positive attitude when we are there trying to give constructive feedback and talk to him. Just not interested.

Under this type of leadership, could be a reason why this place is not thriving even though it’s the only other beach...

Great looking, well designed venue right next to the beach, great selection of drinks, but there was ZERO atmosphere. They were not playing any music! A beach club in complete silence 😅 why would you not at least play some music through the speakers. They have all the sound system set up.

Also when we went today we were told we had to leave at 5pm because of a private party from 5pm but we were still expected to pay full price. A slight discount would have been expected because we were paying full price for only half the amount of time.

Im just really surprised that they don’t play music, or maybe they forgot to put the music on, at a beach club 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was not very busy at all, and from social media and other reviews it seems like it is never very busy. Maybe if they played music it would create a bit more of a vibe and more people would go. It’s right next to a town with thousands of tourists looking for somewhere to relax and have some drinks next to the beach!

It wouldn’t take much to make this place somewhere really fun.
