Cingari is among the several restaurants that serve a diverse menu of indian dishes in Tehran. There was a decent interior design compatible with indian culture, however, we did not recieve any welcomings. Waiters could be more friendly and welcoming. As a genuine fan of indian food, I tasted their "Butter Chicken", "Chilly Chicken", "Vegetable Rice", and "Potatoe Bread". Foods were all well-cooked and prepared in a reasonable time. "Butter chicken" was tasty and delicious. Chilly chicken, unlike its name, was not chilly and spicy at all. Overall, I expected a more spicy food, while it seems that they made adaptations to meet Iranian appetite! Bread, however, was very delicious and worth it considering its low price, which I suggest you to order along with your main dish. Overall, main dishes were...

The most authentic Indian resturant in Tehran. We ordered a variaty of different dishes and we loved them all. Other Indian restaurants in Tehran usually alter the food to the taste of Iranians, so they are not very spicy or they don't have some of the more common Indian foods such as paneer tikka. The food here is very spicy so be warned if you are not accustomed to spicy food. The atmosphere and table service was also good and our food came in correct order with enough time between them to finish your salad for example which many restaurants in Tehran do not pay attention to. The prices are not expensive although they cannot be considered cheap either. Overall, 100% recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian...

I believe it's the best Indian food you can find in Tehran. First of all, the menu is very expansive and you'd probably find whatever you are looking for. And secondly, they're all of high quality. In my last experience with my friends, we ordered two rice dishes (vegetable rice and chicken rice), two main dishes (butter chicken and some kind of a lamb kebab کیمی کی سیخ), two bread (vegetable bread and keema bread), and sweet and salty dough. I can't express how much I enjoyed all of them. Mind that the portions are usually larger than normal, so you'd probably be better off ordering less than usual (we were four, and the food was more...

I’ve tried many Indian restaurants both in Iran and abroad, and despite hearing a lot of good things about this one, it turned out to be quite average. The level of spiciness seemed to be localized, as what was supposed to be medium heat was closer to mild or even lower. The butter chicken curry had an overwhelming tomato flavor, and I even found what felt like little stones, probably from the seasonings. The raita was also much sweeter than expected. Overall, not the experience I had hoped for, especially considering the hype.
