Dehbashian Restaurant — Restaurant in Tehran

A true gem hidden on Sohrevardi street and I found it by chance while scoping Google maps for top rated places. A local restaurant that has stood the test of time and serves food you would get at an Iranian grandmother's house; proper home cooking! The baghali polo with braised neck of lamb comes with a relatively hefty price tag of 1.5million toman, but don't let that beguile you as it's for 2 people which makes it good value as the portions are generous and brilliant quality. The rice is Iranian, which is doused in Kermanshahi clarified butter to give you that authentic flavour. Will definitely visit again upon my returning....

My husband and I were there on 20 of July 2017 we ordered the most famous food in Dehbashian that is Baghali polo ba Gardan( braud bean rice served by Tahdig side with neck of lamb) also Shirazi salad. We enjoyed alot. The food quality was great in a big portion ! The rice was excelent you'd love it.. they would surprise you by their speed in serving food. The tast of salad Shirazi was delicious and so nostalgical. As Dehbashian is an old restaurant do not expect a luxury environment. We strongly suggest here. But don't forget restsurant placed in banned traffic zone! You can go there at the weekend...
