Lidoma Restaurant — Restaurant in Tehran

DO NOT BOOK WITHOUT READING THIS FIRST! I would consider myself a fair reviewer and I have been to several restaurants around the world, but I will have to say that this has been one of the most appalling and worst experiences I have had to date.

In summary: Horrendous management and some staff were unbearably rude and uncaring (Mr Meshki and Jafari, please take a course in customer care) Food is average, takes ages to arrive but is quite overpriced Loud, not best place for a dinner conversation Lovely mocktails + city views

We had booked the venue to celebrate a surprise birthday for a table of six. At first all seemed to go well, we were ushered to our table and were waiting for part of our guests to arrive.

Then it went all downhill and fast!

1.One of the servers quite abruptly and rudely enquired if we had occupied a large table just for the two of us whilst we waited for the rest to arrive. I found this peculiar because they knew the reservation was for 6 AND they themselves gave us the table.

2.The dj and the music was EXTREMELY loud. Music is meant to provide ambiance, not make you deaf. We were not near the speakers and yet could barely hear the waiter, nor could we have a conversation.

The staff were not very attentive and took no notice of us trying to order food and drinks. Each time we had to get up from the table and chase someone down or wave profusely to even have a chance of grabbing someones attention. Considering the price and the 'luxury' experience this restaurant claims to offer, I think this was unacceptable. The food and drinks took a VERY long time to arrive as well and there was a big gap in between courses. The quality of the food was acceptable/average. Nothing to boast about but it was edible.

4.They decided to extend the table next to us MID DINNER and without any apologies or even the slightest concern for us shoved a table so close my guests could barely move in their dining chair and they kept getting elbowed and knocked. (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS) I initially tried to be understanding that the management overbooked and had an incorrect table setup, but I raised this as a concern to ensure our guests were comfortable. They just offered an apology, NO solutions.... I suggested they pull our table to the side which temporarily resolved the issue, however this was handled by Mr. MESHKI (pictured in one of the photographs) one of the staff who had a terrible attitude was unapologetic and had zero concern about our comfort. It was apparent that the tip the groom from the large party next to us had given mr Meshki was enough for him to completely disregard all other guests, which again is unacceptable if a restaurant claims to provide a great dining experience. However, we wanted to celebrate so we decided not to fuss at this point and be merry. This proved to be impossible due to the continued negligence by the staff.

To make matters worse half an hour after the first table incidence, the very same Mr. Meshki and other staff decided to add yet ANOTHER table to extend the other groups table, yet again causing havoc for our party! We could barely move in our chair, the staff and the other guests kept knocking us mid dinner and conversation and yet again the restaurant staff did not care that we were disturbed, uncomfortable and offered NO solutions nothing! Even the apparent manager mr JAFARI had the most horrendous attitude, a look of I don't care, what do u want me to do?

As a result at the nights end I asked for them to cancel all service charges because to be honest it had turned a night of celebrations into a chaotic uncomfortable nightmare! And guess what?? They decided that they did deserve the service charge and offered free tea instead. Whilst a nice gesture I suppose, I did not feel like the food or the experience warranted the service charge.

And now the the good (only reasons it deserved one star): The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful cascading staircase, painted ceilings and gorgeous views of the city. The mocktails were quite nice and definitely...

The place was super fancy and traditional, which wasn't my taste but if you have an important event or meeting, I think it would be worth visting. Got the ribs and a special salad with olives, ALL were amazing. I can safely safe it was the best ribs I had ever eaten ! However, there was loud live music playing THE whole time, which didn't let us speak because we couldn't hear each other; that was honestly a BIG downside. But apart from that, everything was great; a bit too traditional and fancy for my taste but great food...

رستوران در طبقه بالای یک ساختمان قدیمی با چشم‌اندازی پانوراما از شهر قرار داشت. طراحی داخلی آن مدرن و شیک بود، با پنجره‌های قدی بزرگ که نور طبیعی را به داخل راه می‌داد و منظره‌ای خیره‌کننده ارائه می‌کرد. مبلمان راحت و نورپردازی ملایم، فضایی لوکس و آرامش‌بخش ایجاد کرده بود. منوی رستوران بر غذاهای دریایی تازه تمرکز داشت. من فیله ماهی سالمون با سس لیمو و همراهم بشقاب میکس دریایی را انتخاب کردیم. پیش از غذا، یک پیش‌غذای رایگان شامل موس ماهی دودی با نان تست ترد آوردند که طعم بسیار خوبی داشت. وقتی غذاهای اصلی رسیدند، عطر تازگی دریا به مشام می‌رسید. فیله سالمون من به خوبی پخته شده بود و سس لیمو طعم ملایم و دلپذیری به آن بخشیده بود. بشقاب میکس دریایی شامل میگو، صدف و ماهی کبابی بود که همگی تازه و خوشمزه بودند. دورچین غذا سبزیجات گریل شده و پوره سیب‌زمینی بود. سرویس‌دهی بسیار حرفه‌ای و دقیق بود. گارسون‌ها اطلاعات کاملی در مورد منو داشتند و به خوبی از مهمانان مراقبت می‌کردند. برای دسر، ما موس شکلات تلخ و چیزکیک با توت‌های تازه سفارش دادیم. موس شکلات با طعم غنی و بافت ابریشمی، یک دسر لذت‌بخش برای دوستداران شکلات بود. چیزکیک هم با طعم خامه‌ای و شیرین و طراوت توت‌ها، بسیار خوشمزه بود. این رستوران با کیفیت بالای غذاهای دریایی، فضای شیک و منظره فوق‌العاده، تجربه‌ای بی‌نظیر را ارائه می‌دهد. اگر به دنبال یک وعده غذایی خاص و به‌یادماندنی هستید، این مکان انتخاب بسیار خوبی است. حتماً فیله سالمون و دسرهای شکلاتی آن را...
