I went there last night hoping to get a table for two so we arrived quite early (7:45/8pm). Even though only 3 outside tables had guests, we were refused to sit in the front. One waitress came up right to my face and using her hands again right in my face to tell me that these tables were for 4 people and we were “only” 2. I do understand the ratio tables/people however more than half of the restaurant was empty at that time and a dinning for two doesn’t usually last more than 1h/1h30… I really didn’t appreciate the way I was talked to. Read moreI visited [Em sherif] for Iftar, expecting a smooth and well-organized experience, but it was a complete disappointment. Iftar was at 6:32 PM, yet we were left waiting for over an hour without being served any food.
Despite knowing the importance of timely service during Iftar, the staff seemed completely unprepared and indifferent. When we asked about our food, we were met with rude and dismissive responses instead of any real effort to fix the issue.
A restaurant that promotes itself for Iftar should be able to handle the basics—timely service and respectful staff. Unfortunately, this place failed on both fronts. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant dining experience...
