Sometimes I order from here, and honestly, it's unfortunate that I haven’t tried more of Wasta Salman's dishes. So far, I’ve only had the oven-baked chicken and the boiled chicken—both were excellent, especially the oven-baked one. It was rich in flavor, juicy, and absolutely delicious.
One thing that really stands out about Wasta Salman is the generosity. You can count on receiving a full, satisfying meal. The restaurant is located in a popular area of Sulaymaniyah where many people come to eat and explore different local restaurants. Because of that, it can get quite crowded during the evening, so keep that in mind if you prefer quieter places.
I also noticed that the restaurant has been recently renovated—it’s clean, more organized, and welcoming.
If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be in the food packaging for deliveries. Sometimes the soups and other dishes get mixed with the rice during transport. If they could place everything in more specific, separate containers—like using secure plastic bowls for soups—it would keep the presentation and flavors more intact by the time it arrives.
