Dawa 2 Restaurant — Restaurant in Erbil Central Subdistrict

We visited Dawa 2 as a group of three friends. The first impression was positive.. they have a good parking area, and it was free when we went. We quickly found a table, and the service from the waiters at the start was good. One even helped by taking my jacket when I sat down, which I appreciated.

The appetizers were nice, but the main food was average.. definitely room for improvement. The real disappointment came when it was time to pay. We offered a $100 bill (older version), and the staff refused to accept it, saying they only take the new version. We changed it to another old version $100 (from 2006), and they still refused.

When we asked for the manager, he came over with a very unprofessional and disrespectful attitude.. no greeting, no politeness, just, “What’s your problem?” Eventually, he agreed to take the $100 but only at a lower rate, 5,000 IQD less than the market, because it was from 2006. This was shocking and felt unfair.

It’s disappointing to see such poor management after hearing he has been there for 14 years. The service from the waiters was respectful, but the manager’s attitude ruined the whole experience. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place until they improve both their food quality and...

Very Unique and very the environment is really cozy and lovely and you will tast some of the dishes which you never tast and a good services it's definitely worth trying, very easy car parking and its free. as soon as you enter the friendly white swans in the water will take your attention. also there's nice view: fountains with the wood wheel, a lot of greeneries. outside you can find children play ground with the colourful games. just beside the main entrance there's a classic car and statue of a big funny chief. as soon as you walk inside your will notice the decoration is all made out of wood and you will feel an amazing atmosphere and as soon as you sit down you will be serviced and the food attack will start and they will keep bringing you all kind of food and sweets and different type of meats and chickens and rice juices and there service is great also it has the main Sami abdularahamn Parking also so you will Always have you parking zone,wish them All the Best I highly recommend for food lovers to try it and make sure you have a good space in your stomach to take filled it up with all the food...

I visited this restaurant today with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The service was slow, and despite the restaurant being half-empty, it took very long time and just to get our soup and it came cold, when we told the server he didn’t even offer another one . When the food finally arrived, it was cold and poorly presented plus one of the orders was wrong!!! . My rice came cold by the way!,

To make matters worse, when I politely mentioned the issues to our server, they seemed indifferent and offered no apology or solution. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also lacking, .

Given the high prices, that did not match the menu prices! I expected much better.. I won’t be returning, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this...
