Zeytoon Grill House — Restaurant in County Clare

I have to say I felt like leaving without ordering a few times, but I insisted because the pictures on Google reviews were great. My guess is that they changed the owners or are giving up on their business. We were the only ones there and still had to wait for a while to be served. When we ordered, they didn't have falafel which was one of the main reasons I went in the first place, but that is fine. Then we asked for sparkling water and he replied, what if we don't have sparkling water? I found strangers but we asked for normal water and sprite. The food came first, then cutlery, missing a knife and a napkin (we were only two people, it shouldn't be that hard). We went there this last weekend and we were delighted to find this place in a rather secluded neighborhood. The surroundings were really adding to the allure of the place. With ample place to sit, the dining was ornate with glossy furmishings and the food was amazing. After a long time I had visited a place who had cooked the food right in the subcontinental way. I could feel the taste of every spice separately on my tongue. If you have ever been curious about eating an Indian cuisine, this is the right place to go. The good thing is that the spices were also mild and balanced to suit the taste buds of a non-oriental diner. Later we talked to the owner as well and he told us how they took great caution in preparing all the ingredients. He also showed us his mewly built kitchen. It was all neat and clean. First time visiting, ordered butter chicken , 2 garlic naan breads ,mix grill special, chicken wrap and kids burger meal.

🟢Positivs :affordable and nice decor (but require good cleaning as a lot dust,dead bugs and dirty tables,mirrors) , got one plain rice portion given as a compliment
