Beautiful ‘pub grub’ myself and husband had wonderful food here. I had the carbonara, it was so creamy and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the chicken burger with chips. The portion was great and the SF chicken fillet burger was succulent. Desserts were yummy. very friendly staff

I had my doubts about this place since it's a chain and the atmosphere is more game bar and tacky rather than wholesome, however the service and food was A+! Lots of parking, even with a wedding taking place in the adjoined hotel.

Fantastic pub/restaurant in the grounds of the clanree Hotel, great selection of beers and wines with a cocktail menu for the ladies. The service was first class and quick food was pretty good but slightly overpriced

Food: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Other comments: almost 3 hours for 3 courses, not by choice.

Heard some great reviews of word and mouth about McGettigan's and gave it a go as a treat for the moms birthday. We originally had to approach a waitress to find our booked table to which we then got seated. It took about 20-30 mins to be approached by a member of staff to take our orders and drinks, was quite thirsty at this stage. The starters finally arrived around the first hour mark. Once finished we waited for someone to approach us to see if we were finished but no waiters were to be seen and when we did see one they didn't seem to want to make eye contact with our table but eventually it got cleaned. Just before the second hour the mains arrived, I had the 8oz burger but felt it was quite salty for my liking. Once we finished our mains once again no waiters were to be seen and eye contact was non existent. A waitress finally noticed and helped. We had to get up and ask for the desert menu and some more drinks as it was about 30-40 mins since we finished our mains. The deserts were ordered and took us into the second hour. We ate the deserts which was fine at best and if you guessed that the employees were nowhere to be seen at this point then you'd be right! It came to the point where someone from our table had to get up and request the cheque at the end then the table was cleared and the cheque was given to us.

I don't know if we came at a bad time or day but was very disappointed about the whole experience, especially from all the other amazing reviews this place...

Visited here with elderly mum and two daughters on 11 sept. No one came near us as we seated ourselves. Eventually, Had to ask if we could have menus, then after a long time asked barman if he could get someone to take our order. Waited ages and same barman came over and said " I might as well take it myself as no one else is doing it" . Food arrived and my 2 daughters ordered a sharing platter and some sides. There was a huge blond hair on top of their meal. My daughter just lifted it as the waiter approached with my order. I drew his attention to it and he said " oh my god, that's disgusting, I will get you another one". Our appetite was spoiled but we ate up. Plates were lifted. We asked for Bill - no reduction offered and again sat for ages before it came and again before anyone came to take payment. I then walked my elderly mother who finds it difficult to walk, to toilet which was at other end of restaurant and the walk was difficult for her. My daughter asked lady at reception if we could go out of doors at end of toilet corridor explaining how her gran was and was told 'NO' so we had to walk back to the other end again. I mentioned the visit to my relatives in Tyrone ( I live in Belfast and had gone down to take my mum out for a drive) and they said - that always happens when there's a wedding as they send all their trained staff to wait at...

Ate there yesterday. I've been to the one in Dubai and this looked like a tiny version of that. Clean. Staff seemed to be rushing around despite not many people there.

The prices are good. The food came fast and same high quality that I had in Dubai McGettigans.

Two parts that made the experience a bit off.

The lady who seated me pointed to a table and chair. I moved the other side of the table so I am not eyeballing the other patrons on the next table.

The menu was placed as if I was to sit in the other chair, as was my drink I ordered, as was my cutlery (all at different times). They did place the meal in front of me, so that was good. Just seemed funny.

The other part is I am staying in the connecting hotel so I asked to charge to room. Wait staff went off and came back saying I had no credit on the room and so I couldn't?? Normally I just settle up at the end of the hotel stay. First time I've ever had that. Paid by card without issue.

Turned up the day after. Clearly they read the review as I got a manager coming up to me. Initially told me they were full but said I was a resident.

Offered to sit at bar or at an empty table. Took the table but was seated by a person who was clearly unwell (coughing like crazy) So moved to the bar.

Food and drink was good. Staff much...
