Kabo Coffee — Restaurant in County Galway

Staff were plentiful and pleasant. Food was hit or miss. Bagels were burnt. Pancakes were good. The main issue was the queuing system which was very chaotic and somewhat confusing. The cafe was not busy when we arrived with plenty of outdoor seating and about 5 staff that I could see. Yet we were waiting ages at the door for someone else to get their large takeaway coffee order. Then we were asked to order our food while still standing in the queue but told to stay on queue to order drinks. We were advised not to take a seat until this whole process was complete and we had paid. Table service would have made a much more pleasant experience and would have been more Covid friendly. Toilets located to right of queue so other people were passing anyway in the opposite direction! Final feedback would be that for those dining (outdoors) at the cafe, we were disappointed to get our tea/coffee...

My partner and i visited connemara these last few days and to say that kabo coffee gave us the cherry on top of the trip is an understatement! we are vegan so struggled a little in the little town, we had went to Kabo the evening before to see if there were options for breakfast the next day. They were so accommodating and lovely that they had bought in vegan breakfast food for us by the next morning! Highly recommend for anyone visiting connemara,...

Had the sausage roll supposedly to go for our trek at Connemara but it was really good and filling we finished it while waiting for the others to get their order. Had to order two extra instead. They put them in bags with insulation so it keeps warm for longer. Perfect meal for trekking
