I went there on last friday and it was a surprise for me, one of the best restaurants in Dublin for sure and I've been in a lot of them. It's not a big restaurant, but when you get in you feel like at home, with a very nice vibe. I order a steak, my daughter a corn soup and a fresh pasta with pumpkin, my wife fish and chips.
I tried the soup and it was very nice and good for this cold weather, very different from others that I tried before. I couldn't try the pasta because it have cheese and I don't eat cheese, but she told me it was excellent. I tried the fish and chips and it was really very good, I usually don't like fish and chips because in mostly all the places they use really bad oils, but this one was awesome. The meat was wonderful, very very good meat and it was very well cooked, and I tried meat in some of the best places in Dublin.
I will be back for sure, I really enjoyed this place.

Ambience good, staff are very pleasant, but food choices limited probably down to size of kitchen.
My wife was happy with her choices, I found the Wok special a bit cloying.
For me, I found the seats to be uncomfortable and the table on the smaller side of ideal. Also found the wine list to be limited and expensive.
If I'm paying €60+ for a French Chardonnay I expect it to have some depth and flavour, it had neither.
I also am not a fan of super sized portions. Less is definitely more and if that reduces the prices and speeds up the turnaround, then I'd be inclined to order a starter or dessert.
TL;DR
It's fine, but expensive and uncomfortable for any long duration. Wine list needs work...

From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming reception exactly what every great restaurant should have.
We were shown straight to our table and given plenty of time to look over the lunch/dinner menu, which had a fantastic selection of dishes, all very reasonably priced. This was my first visit to this restaurant in Foxrock Village, and I sincerely hope it won’t be my last.
I went for the goat’s cheese to start, followed by the roast beef for my main course, and finished with the apple crumble for dessert all perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The meal was beautifully complemented by a lovely bottle of red wine.
From the warm welcome to the attentive service and delicious food, everything was spot on. A solid...
