I wouldn’t even give a one star! 😡 New Year’s Eve afternoon I went with my family 7 of us- for a bite to eat we were asked for covid certs and id which we all had like everyone else saved on our phones this wasn’t sufficient and were not allowed in as after looking and checking our ids on the phone then then decided they wanted originals documents and ids! I’m completely humiliated and heartbroken that this happened as my family is visiting from abroad and that makes a laugh of Irish hospitality. Needless to say i will not be going back ever again as many establishments more deserving of my money!

Reply to your respond;

We all had photographic ID on our phones to support our Covid Certificates as we too as customers are fully compliant with the all guidelines, no where on the Dept of Health guidelines does it state that physical originals must be show only photographic ID along with Covid Certs and please be reassured the safety of others and ourselves is always high priority. We understand the rules for 6 to a table and we as we said would have been happy to slit up the party and You even went inside to see if you could accommodate us table wise but please don’t try to say that is the reason why you refused us. I am thankful at least in my experience compared to other negative reviews online, I didn’t part with any money in your establishment. I think a review course in customer service and also the HSE guidelines might educate you on how to gain/keep customers what’s actually is legally required by patron....

The interior and the general staff that I've experienced are mostly great but you can really tell that the owner clearly has other financial avenues coming in because the standards of how some people should be treated along with a degree of common sense are largely both non-existent from the management there, at times!

In theory, the place should have always been doing much better than it has been but there really doesn't seem to be a desire from the management there along with the prices not really matching the quality of what you're recieving so RIP! You can also tell that some people there take great pleasure in refusing certain people who they don't personally like from a first glance and for rather personalised reasons... a stereotype and a half from a rather typical FF leaning pub 😅

Hopefully the workers there are getting treated better than from what I last heard but I honestly doubt it like! I'm sure the few locals who go there over the Kilmardinny Inn may have different experiences because they've chosen to get extorted more from the prices over a longer period of time so in theory, they might get treated better but I always found it most amusing that the overwhelming vast majority of locals living within the area rightfully tend to choose "The Killer" over Beaumont House and the management there can narcissistically blame that on the customer being unreasonable all they want but it's completely their fault at the end of the day, which I find greatly...

Went in here for breakfast. Ordered two vegetarian breakfasts but added bacon on. Never a problem anywhere else we've gone. We just like to get veggies but add bacon like. Waiter acted like it was difficult & said he had to go and ask the chef whether he could add bacon on....? Very odd, you just put it on the plate like.. but he came back said ok so that was grand. The toast that came out was mouldy but they tried to tell me it was seeds, definitely wasn't seeds. The rest of the food was grand & nice cup of tea. But then the bill was €35 euro. €17.50 each for just two bog standard breakfasts. I rang them and queried it as I thought I'd been overcharged, and I just got a blunt "that's the price". The vegetarian breakfast was €13.50 each, which even at that is expensive. So charged an extra €8 for 4 slices of thin, overcooked bacon.... Obviously knew it would be some extra but that's fairly steep pricing. Manager on the phone just kept saying "okay" and nothing else, very attitude about it. Even just a polite "sorry it was unexpected, but unfortunately that's the price" would have been grand. We're always extremely polite and friendly with staff, even when I seen the mouldy toast I said it quietly to the waiter so as not to tell the whole place like. So the rudeness was unnecessary. Customer service definitely needs work and prices are...

I said to myself before ordering sure you can never go wrong with a filet steak, how wrong was I see it was 37euro I thought it would be nice it was by far the worse bit of meat I have ever had, it tasted like I was cooked 4 weeks ago well done and heated up in a microwave before serving it to me ( I asked for med rare) no one came and asked us how the food was so I didn't complain, the 2 people I was with tasted it and agreed I had to look at it and see was it even a steak twice, they got a lasagne and scampi and those dishes were terrible also, if I could give any advice it would be not to eat in here!

I ordered the burger here with all the trimmings which consisted of onions, carrot, mash and some greens. A good selection on the menu but I found the drinks menu was a little dear. I found the staff nice and helpful. The interior inside here is nice and colourful. They also have an atm here which is good. There's little to no information about this establishment online to mention food menus and opening hours which is quite poor in this day and age. I would overall recommend though as it is affordable and they provide good liberal portions.

Great old Irish heritage pub in Dublin, were the Guinness first poured for the Public.A Must visit if you visit Dublin or Ireland. Old vat equipments, utensils, books, artifacts are showcased in a rustic manner. Full breakfast wasn't that good(no baked beans, potato farls and soda bread😂), their fried mushrooms,Fish and chips were simply superb (Buffalo wings was too salty).Last but not the least they charge a premium, its a gentle men place mostly visited by elder lads and ladies. Dress well chill
