Came here on a quiet Wednesday with friends - ordered our food. After paying for two sides was then told by the waitress I in fact didn’t and when I argued this the waitress told me I was wrong cause the receipt said one side. She then asked me “can you not just eat this?” After she took the plate from me. This same girl also struggled to place a plate on the table and quite rudely asked my friend could she take it (this plate was already half of the table so we were all confused). After I asked another man for my receipt he seemed to be very confused as to what the other girl was saying cause my receipt was right and I got my food. This waitress after serving us all the food came over with two additional plates of food which were not ours and was confused. We had to ask for extra peri salt as one of the chips came out plain when they were meant to be peri. The staff were not trained properly and even tho it seemed to be quiet it was all a mess. Regardless off the bad service the chicken was a bit dry and the chips were a scabby portion Have had far nicer Nando’s elsewhere and won’t be returning...

I got texts saying the driver was on the way so I waited in the front room for it. Nobody arrived. I went to the bathroom during the wait, but the doorbell didn't ring and neither did my phone. A push notification said it arrived. I checked outside and nobody was there. The was no food on the doorstep.
I rang customer support who said the food was left on the doorstep. I told them we'd checked (we even asked the neighbours) but nothing was there. The agent then said that the delivery driver had called and that he had waited for a significant amount of time. Unless the invisible man is on deliveries, this is just untrue.
To make matters worse, I have to 'escalate a refund' which will take 48hours.
The food is grand at Nandos. We got this as a treat to mark a little occasion in our lives and instead we're out €50 and we had to make other plans.
Attached is the good I didn't get on my passenger seat, because I had to drive to mcdonalds to get something else.

Read moreReally gone to the dogs lately. Pre covid it was great, service was fast, everything was spotless and staff were attentive. Sadly nowadays the main restaurant floor and bathrooms are not clean, the drinks machines are broken and the staff are not attentive. The coke machine was out of coke syrup and we needed to ask 4 people to fix it while waiting 20 minutes to get a drink. Each said it was being sorted but none were doing anything. Then food was taking ages for most people in the restaurant to arrive.We asked the table next to us how long they were waiting and they had been there for over 40 minutes waiting on food. I understand if a restaurant is busy but there was an abundance of staff on and sadly most were spending their time looking after deliveroo orders rather than peoples orders in the restaurant. The cashier was also asked 3 times to give loyalty code for the app on the reciept as we could not login to the app and on returning to table he had not done this either, eventually a manager sorted after asking. Sadly won't be returning to this...
