I ordered a greek feast from Yeeros as I had heard great things and wanted to try out a few different dishes. I had been recommended by friends, some of them love it so much they eat there twice a day and one of my friends said he was addicted to it so I had to see what all the fuss was about.
I don't eat meat but was delighted to see so many exciting vegetarian options, which can sometimes be a little boring - certsinly not the case with Yeeros. Their vegeterian Gyro options all sounded so tasty that it was hard to choose one. I went with the Athens pita wrap. This has all the usual gyro fair - chips , tzatziki tomato, onion, and chilli sauce but the crazy factor is the zucchini fritters! (also known as courgette fritters) They are normally a starter so when I saw they were in the wrap I was like woah, now I've seen everything!
The fritters in the wrap were crispy on the outside with a delicious cloud like softness on the inside. The bread was the right amount of chewy and the veg and sauces really brought the whole dish together. the chips, they are like little beautiful sculptures. Each one shaped different. top Marks for the creative touch!
I also ordered the starter of fried halloumi which out the firm cheese family its definitely a firm favourite of mine. It was perfectly cooked , savoury and squeaky - which I think we can all say is the strange sensation we hate to love about halloumi.
Because I had a few to many margaritas last night I also ordered an extra side of fries and a tzatziki dip with bread, this proved to be a great call as I'm still nibbling away at them as I write!
To put it quite frankly, their packaging is no short of genius, the boxes are branded tonremind you of where you ordered from and a nice size for the sides and starters,. They are so cute that I might re use one to bring my lunch to the pheonix park tomorrow. The gyro wrap packaging allows you to eat whilst it's still wrapped, mess free. I think this extra bit of care they put into the packaging shows they really care about their customers, which for a hungover girl like me , is a comforting feeling right now.
The delivery was speedy and the driver was jolly - the personality trait I always yearn for in a delivery driver.
If you want to be instantly transported to a greek isle, with the sounds of crystal blue water lapping against the harbour in your ears as you eat, then I would have say this is the restaurant...

Easily the worst food and atmosphere I’ve ever encountered. I arrived not knowing what to expect, but I never imagined it would be this bad. The place has an odd industrial vibe and was completely deserted at 1:30 PM on a Wednesday — no staff, no customers, just an eerie silence that honestly killed any appetite I had. It felt more like walking into an abandoned warehouse than a restaurant.
We used the self-service machine (since there was no one around) and tried ordering two gyros. The pricing was bizarre. The base price was listed as €10.20, but then you had to manually add meat for an extra €0.50 — excuse me? What exactly is a gyro without meat? That setup is confusing at best and misleading at worst.
After ordering, we waited. And waited. Still no staff in sight, no kitchen noise, no clue if our food was even being prepared. About 10 minutes in, we rang the bell on the counter (alongside a bizarre cluster of other restaurant bells). A couple of minutes later, a hipster-looking guy in a Hawaiian shirt literally rolled up on an electric scooter to hand us the food — no joke, it felt like a sketch from a comedy show.
The food itself? Disappointing. The gyros were tiny, barely warm, with very little meat, and didn’t taste fresh at all. For over €10, this felt like a total rip-off. As someone who’s been to Greece multiple times, this barely passes as a sample, let alone a proper gyro. A real Greek would probably cry if they tasted...
Read moreI walked in around lunch time yesterday and spoke to the front of house girl clearly about needing gluten free and she reassured me that I could get a gluten free pitta. I opted for grilled veg & halloumi as the other veg option was full of wheat and she said would also be fried in the oil that everything else is friend in so would also be cross contaminated. 20 mins after eating my lunch I started getting really sick. Classic gluten poisoning. I'm also 32 weeks pregnant so it has caused me extra stress to be this ill when I was so clear about not being able to have gluten. I had chips on my wrap and in hindsight I'm feeling they may have been fried in the contaminated oil? My wrap was also full of flour so wondering if that was perhaps wheat flour? For how sick I've been since I ate the wrap, I feel there was actual gluten in my meal and it wasn't just cross contamination to be honest. Would be curious to know if I got a normal gluten wrap instead of a GF one by mistake.. I was a little suspicious of how similar to normal bread it seemed yesterday! With all of that being said and the disappointment that there's another great place I cannot eat from any longer - I know the food here is great quality and value and would recommend to all of my non-coeliac...
