Not just for the grave of Collins! This cemetery is beautiful! Grounds are well kept, lot's of history, a lovely walk and a tour if you wish to have a guide. I feel this is a must stop when in Dublin! Add in, just outside the gates is likely the best pub in Dublin, John Kavanagh, nicknamed the "Gravedigger" as it was the watering hole of the gravediggers back in the 1830's.

The graveside is easy to find. It is in front of the main building that contains the shop, toilets, cafe and museum. There is the option to join one of the guided tours that will explain the history of the deceased. It can make it difficult to view the grave when a tour is occurring. There are hard paved paths that are accessible for a person in a wheelchair.

Pretty much the spot of honor located in front of the cemetery offices by the cafe and gift shop. Tours all stop here and have quite the discussion. Ireland is very proud of Michael Collins and it shows.
