The camile brand is all around Ireland, and the atmosphere of relaxed Thai food eating is at the heart of the brand. However the problem with chain restaurants is the various quality of service and food. In this occasion, the staff were very poor. Nobody took responsibility, and the site manager was very bad at his job. The food however was adequate, but nothing spectacular. The reason for such low rating is based on the fact that nobody knew what the sauce was that accompanied the dish. For someone who has allergies, the creamy yellow paste could have been sesame or peanut, yet nobody knew. The counter boy asked the chef, he didn't know. The chef asked the manager, and he didn't know. I was told that he'll go and find out, and upon return the response was, "sauce that goes with the dish". My question was, "what is in it?" still no answer, but rather some shady excuse that the sauce was brought in. Despite the fact that the restaurant supply a list for allergens, the staff had no idea of how to link the two together. This brings another thing to mind about this chain, how much of it is actually healthy, fresh, and right to eat? And then there is the soya sauce with chicken stock in it... Who does that? Apparently Camile does... Be careful the next time you visit.

We have not ordered from Camile for a while. This place used to provide exceptional food. Something has changed. Our order this time was horrible. Even the packaging is no longer the same. Before, everything used to be brought in nice round containers, always full to the brim. This order was now delivered in low quality containers. This was the first sign service and quality has deteriorated. The chicken skewers were sent wrapped in a bag. This made them soggy. The martabak gyoza, which should be golden and crispy were dark and burnt. The Ped Med mamung, which should be a hearty dish, looked nothing but. The Asian greens was half a container and soggy. It took 1 hour to get the order delivered on a Monday. We requested a fresh order and the second order arrived in 40 minutes. Even though it looked slightly better, the gyozas where again inedible, and quality and taste of the other dishes was nothing close to what Camile quality used to be.

I am really disappointed with my last order. We used to love your green curry and literally ordered it every week, sometimes twice a week. The quality of food used to be top-notch. I fell in love with the dish from the very first spoon, its consistency was perfect, creamy, not too oily, right balance between sweet and spicy. I have heard from my friends that also used to love Camile that something had changed and they were not happy with their last orders. So I have decided to try it myself and what I received was a green SOUP! It was so liquid I had to throw some rice into it to make it taste like a main course and not some broth. The flavour was there 80% but it is nothing like curry. I don't know what happened or maybe you guys have a new chef but please do something about it. Seriously considering to find a better Thai restaurant in the area.

I come to Camile Swords at least once per week, having been a big fan of the restaurant before this branch ever opened.

I have to say that the food is top notch, better than any other branch I have used before. HOWEVER, the experience in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

Here is a list of really annoying issues I have experienced that can hopefully be resolved:

Door left open in the middle of Winter with freezing cold wind blowing in.

Tables not being cleared. I came early afternoon last week and there was only one other customer in the store and every other empty table was covered in dirty plates, cups and tissues. I had to clean one myself and the rest weren't cleared for the next 20 mins I spent in the restaurant. Today I sat down at what looked like a clean table from a distance and my sleeves were covered in chili sauce. I had to go home and change my clothes before going back to work because of this.

No toilet paper in the toilet, just napkins.

Having to ask for cutlery because most of the items are missing from the self service area.

Half empty water bottles left on the table for the next customer to drink instead of being removed and replaced with fresh ones. Previous customers or children could have done anything to the bottle. You cannot expect customers to finish off the same one.

Ice cream machine being cleaned during service, with the bucket of cream left out in public while people are walking in and out of the toilet right beside it and blowing their noses. I would never order the ice cream again after seeing this.

Food - 5/5 Front...

Ordered via deliveroo. Food ETA was 50 minutes from order time. 55 minutes pass by so I call and keep getting put straight through to their on hold music. I called off my partners phone and got through immediately, they were clearly dodging my calls. First explanation was that they were short a delivery driver and he was now on his way (for context we live a 10 mins drive away). 15 minutes later, still no food. I call again, straight to voicemail. My partner calls of his phone and gets through, now the excuse is that there was a server issue and my order is on its way.. was it not already on its way? Food finally arrives 45 minutes after scheduled ETA (that's almost 2 hours after when we ordered..)

Surprisingly the food was piping hot. I checked the delivery docked and they only put in the order 20 minutes before it arrived! Clearly they completely missed the order and only put it through after my 2nd or 3rd phone call.

Although the food was hot, the fried rice was bland.

I was shocked that I had been dismissed, ignored and lied to by staff. Completely unacceptable. Safe to say that I will not be ordering...
