Starbucks Swords Airside Smyths — Restaurant in Fingal

I love coffee and to be honest I don't have favourite coffee houses I do know however bad coffee houses and there are some. I am not anti multinational nor do I dismiss smaller local coffee houses. I simply hate bad coffee be it espresso or filtered both are good but both can be horrendous.Stale filtered gives me migraines for example found mainly in hotels at breakfast. Starbucks are the good guys their coffee is excellent I love the cold filtered oh and when they get the Kenyan coffee in its just smooth as silk. I love the ambiance in Starbucks and I'm a people watcher it dosen't get better and to see kids pick up the skills of ordering their beverage of chocolate potential coffee drinkers of the future not the future binge drinkers if old. Coffee shops have helped change the social fabric of our society for the better our new churches one could say very much a melting pot for all members of our societies. To hear different languages is common and comforting to know that we have a bright future ahead of us. Just one suggestion I feel all coffee shops are missing out on yes it good to have Irish newspapers available but don't forget the new Irish who would like reminders and see what's going on a Polish Lithuanian Latvian and or Crotation newspaper would be nice and make us all feel park of a bigger Europe. Dreadful experience One other customer at counter Approached counter 4 Staff were behind Picked a chicken rap and asked person at end for a tea said order it back there We only make it Girl said Other lady before you who said go ahead I have not chosen sandwich Asked for a tea Girl staff mumbled something about not taking orders so asked the young guy again who took order got tea and money for rap Then asked my name I asked why and he said I had to wait for tea Nobody else was there 10 euro for cold wrap and tea I am 75 years of age and felt they did not the bother of serving me Will never go back I spend 2 months a year in New York and never was treated like this...

For over two years this was one of my favorite Starbucks stores and had prevously rated it 4/5 stars, however things have really been let slip.

While the staff are friendly at the counter they seem more interested in talking with each other than working.

I can appreciate that it's busier over the Christmas period but that's no excuse for the state of the place and let alone the bathroom.

In the pictures I've included the tray had been left sitting there on the vacant table for over an hour at least, where I was sitting there was the discarded packets of sugar from it's last occupant and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since...
