KFC Dublin - Charlestown Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Fingal

A visit with the kids for a ice cream last night.when dad approached your automatic door it didn't open two kids standing behind him so assuming it was locked he walked away to use the other door when he walked away the door flew open hitting my 7 year old there were tears and sobs not one member of staff approached even though two had watched it your restaurant was empty.Tears were soon dried ice cream can fix most problems to a seven yr old.when I got to counter I asked the girl serving us "is the auto door on the blink?" She replied " yea why?"I said "that's very dangerous"and told her wat happened."I asked if she could not lock it and I was til"I actually don't know how to"I replied with "well is there anyone who would and she looked a lil nervous and said my manager.I said great can you get them for me so she left and spoke v briefly to a male colleague (the one who had seen it happen) he gave me q polite smile through counter and walked bk to kitchen confused yes Keenan and kels good burger could of done better then the girl got my 3 milkshakes and said thanks very much so obv manager didn't want to chat with me. I asked for managers name then she said manager was off today and that was supervisor triage was his name and y I wanted it I told her I was very unhappy no incident report form nothing I even told her they should fill one I left and then they ran after me to carp ark it turns out triage wasn't supervisor and the supervisor new nothing what had happen this morn my lil girl is bruised what will I do now kfc? I was in Dubai for 10 years and people there love KFC. Its very usual to see KFC and McDonalds adjacent to each other and its always full. I came to Ireland in 2020 Sep and have noticed KFC isnt popular in ireland inspite of the great menu and i think i have cracked the answer by visiting both these joints frequently. Here you go: Attitude!!!! From Payment to serving people are sleepy and does not even look at you. No care in wrapping the sandwich - the sauce and meat is always inside the bag with wet receipts and ketchup packet, serves cold bun and never keeps tissue unless you go back and ask, coffee always upto brim and falls out of cup if u hold it a bit tight. Now imagine all this when you are ordering drive-in. The drive-in is always slow and i can see most times when the food is ready at the till, the staff is busy arranging the next one. Its not efficient. Where as McD is quiet the opposite. Having said all this, is it ok to say- i love KFC for the food but i always go to McD for the service and whenever i am in a hurry and trust me i am not a fan of McD products but they never keep me waiting and have never noticed anything go wrong in orders. KFC is my go to only when i have all the time in the world.

KFC management if you read this, dont write a silly auto reply but pls understand the colonel has invented a good product.. Now show some attitude and passion in selling...

I just wanted to start by saying I never leave reviews but I felt it was justified to leave one after the horrific treatment I got from a staff member in this kfc.

Kfc is my favourite place to dine and I’m a regular here but it isn’t the first time I’ve had an incident with this woman. Her name is Agata and she is a horrific representative for the management of this shop.

My son was ordering a bargain bucket meal and she told him to get out, and that he isn’t allowed to order without a guardian. Who was busy helping my daughter get out of the car as she has a disability. She was absolutely horrific when I mentioned to her that my son was just very excited as we love kfc. She said she doesn’t care and it’s “too late in the day to be excited” and that I’m not a very good parent letting my son go into places on his own. Maybe she was having a bad day ? But absolutely had no right to question my parenting.

I can tell she doesn’t demand a lot of respect from the staff either as a few of them had apologised to me for her poor treatment, I hope something can be done about this as she can’t be leading a shop so popular as KFC if she’s going to be rude. She is quite rude constantly when I’m in there and she seems to be quite stuck up to her staff too.
