Today we were told they don't accept dogs on their outdoor terrace. I don't remember the last time I was at an outdoor eatery in Dublin that didn't allow dogs to sleep under the table. We were offered a table at the front door as the compromise. There's no heater here or wind cover and it was 2*C, so we obviously couldn't sit there. (It was unsurprisingly vacant) I'm quite surprised in 2021, the Greenery are this far behind on pet policy.

I've been many times in the past and the food is great. I assumed they were a modern restaurant and allowed dogs. I didn't call ahead as that route is frequented by people walking their pets from the coast road. I won't make the mistake again. I recommend FishShack or any of the spots on new street in future for any of you looking to bring your furry friend out with you while you grab lunch. Very disappointing, and an obvious 'opportunity loss' for a restaurant looking for business post lockdown.
