Genuinely, bad service and overpriced food. We had ordered main courses for the both of us and even wine, but we felt unwelcome the whole time because we were younger, in our 20’s. Not only that, we waited at least 40 minutes for the food and we got hungry while waiting so we ate some of our small 4” cake I had bought, as it was my birthday that day. The manager raised his voice at us and was quite rude about it. He said “GIRLS?! You CANNOT be eating cake here. That is just UNACCEPTABLE!” I didn’t know as most restaurants allowed it for birthdays. We immediately put it away as that was my bad. There was no need to raise his voice. The steak was also very bland and cooked wrong. I asked for medium rare and got medium, definitely not worth €25. The seafood pasta was good but it wasn’t worth the hostile and rude treatment we got in there.

This is such a beautiful, spring-vibe brunch spot! I really love it here! The place has indoor and outdoor seats and every corner is a feast for the eyes. The food is really good and fresh! We had quesadilla, chicken burger, sweet potato fries, french toast with banana, blueberries and pecan, pancakes with bacon and coffee. •The quesadilla was really perfect and ingredients were fresh! •The sweet potato fries was bomb!! The best sweet potato fries we had here in dublin!! •You’ll definitely love the french toast here - crispy in the outside but soft in the inside, the right amount of sweet, and very filling! so good! If you are looking for a beautiful place with the nicest view and good food-the Greenery won’t fail you!

My two visits to this restaurant were simply delightful. What truly love were the French toasts; I couldn't resist coming back for seconds. However, a small tip for the management: the menu mentions "cream," but both times, it was served with a Nutella sauce instead. A heads-up to diners about this would be great. Plus, a bit more of the Nutella or cream! The service here is exceptional. The waitstaff is incredibly attentive, a true testament to their dedication to a top-notch dining experience. The restaurant's charm and decor create an inviting atmosphere, though I can't give it a full five stars because the noise level can be a tad high, and the tables are positioned quite close to each other.

Myself and my wife went in for breakfast. The place was about 75% full. We were showed to a table but then the waitress forgot about us so we called her attention and ordered the potato hash and avocado plus tea and coffee. There were two waitresses on duty, the other waitress was bringing water to her tables and getting their drinks immediately. After 25 minutes with no drinks we caught our waitresses attention to ask for the drinks. No apology for the delay but a smart smile. She gave the order to the barista and we could see the barista make the drinks and leave on the counter. We then watched our waitress do everything but deliver our drinks, she cleaned tables, chatted with her colleague and stood at the barista but had no inclination to get our drinks. We had no choice but to go up to the counter and ask the barista if they were our drinks. Our waitress gave us that lovely smarmy smile and said I’ll check, knowing full well they were ours. When she delivered them I told her that her service was terrible we waited 25 minutes before having to remind her and then another 5 minutes once they were poured. Her response was she was busy, no apology. Ten minutes later the two tables either side of us were served their meals, the first table arrived 25 minutes after us, the second 30 minutes after us. At this stage we called over the other waitress and complimented her on how efficient she was but we were still waiting. She tried to defend her colleague saying she wasn’t working as long as herself. In the end we had no choice but to leave.

We live in Malahide so we know lots of amazing alternatives, we headed off to Deja Vu and had a gorgeous breakfast with great service.

It’s a pity the Greenery allow shocking service to ruin their good food from the kitchen but take it from a...

Today we were told they don't accept dogs on their outdoor terrace. I don't remember the last time I was at an outdoor eatery in Dublin that didn't allow dogs to sleep under the table. We were offered a table at the front door as the compromise. There's no heater here or wind cover and it was 2*C, so we obviously couldn't sit there. (It was unsurprisingly vacant) I'm quite surprised in 2021, the Greenery are this far behind on pet policy.

I've been many times in the past and the food is great. I assumed they were a modern restaurant and allowed dogs. I didn't call ahead as that route is frequented by people walking their pets from the coast road. I won't make the mistake again. I recommend FishShack or any of the spots on new street in future for any of you looking to bring your furry friend out with you while you grab lunch. Very disappointing, and an obvious 'opportunity loss' for a restaurant looking for business...
