Eddie’s Takeaway & Diner — Restaurant in Galway

I went to Norio's to get a pizza for dinner with my mom. The man working was being so rude. He was constantly telling us to hurry up because he has other people to serve when there was literally no one in line except us. We asked for a large Pepperoni pizza. Simple right? Well apparently not since we got a small pizza instead of large with mayonnaise, chicken and mushrooms. We did not ask for that. When we went back to tell the man that this wasn't what we ordered, he just said we should've been more specific. More specific? What were we supposed to say? Anyways, we were demanding to change our pizza to the one we actually ordered, so they finally gave it to us after 20 minutes of waiting when it usually takes half that time. Keep in mind, we had to pay extra for that pizza when it wasn't our fault that we got our order wrong! We ended up getting our pizza perfectly fine but when we started eating, we realised something was off. The crust was stale and the marinara sauce was old and rotten. There were chunks of tomato and who knows what else. I also found a piece of hair in the sauce. The pepperoni had something that looked like mold on it too. It gave us a really bad stomach ache and we got sick for the following week from that pizza. I do not recommend Norio's...

Loved this diner style TAway more especially because of its sit in (shame the upstairs had to shut too) at very reasonabke price on proper dishes with welcoming helpful staff. There are few takeaways eateries chippers etc between us aand here but we do enjoy a pick up or stop off on way outa town or coming from a Sunday walk. Indeed weve sent, reccommended and brought many a budd here. Have to admit I was a bit 😮👀 at the recent price jumps and there seemed to be slight alteration to menu. Our portion werent quite as generous either but thats merely luck of draw. I guess we have to except that this is the case everywhere now as I noticed many others such as a well known Galway chain/Franchise has made a farely obvious jump on prices too 😯😕. Husband rang and put in an order for collection, we got a pasta carbonara, which was completely tasteless and sauce was extremely watery and it was made with penne pasta instead of tagliatelle. My 7 year old Daughter asked for a pie and chips, they gave her a curry chip with no pie. My Husband rang them bk and had to go and collect the pie again, which was soggy from being heated in the microwave. My 6 year old Son ordered Spaghetti Bolognese also made with penne pasta and not spaghetti, there was no Bolognese, he refused to eat it. and my Husband ordered a 4 in 1, Chicken was dry, rice was hard not cooked properly and curry was too salty, which I found quite surprising that he would complain about because he likes salt on his food. I didn't want to give a star rating quite frankly this establishment is undeserving of it. I certainly would not recommend and not be ordering from here again....
