KFC — Restaurant in Galway

Updated 30 oct 25. So returned as kids love KFC. In fairness food very good this time. However upstairs closed at 8pm so downstairs busy. Manager trying to get every customer to do google review while ordering to get free ice cream. So here's my review. Maybe clear some tables, pick rubbish of floor instead of annoying customers for Google reviews. We were there for 30 mins and two tables needed clearing and floor was filthy.

Would give zero if I could. Served under cooked zinger burger..see pic. Sent a complaint to kfc who came back saying all checks were done on temp control and fryers work automatically so can't under cook chicken. They were sorry I was dissatisfied with my order. Well I'm shocked that kfc would stand over this undercooked food. They basically made me out to be a liar and offered a 15 euro voucher which just covers price of meal. We’re supposed to order via drive-thru a bucket from the kfc app at KFC Briar Hill shopping center branch but the staff said we should head on to the cashier counter to place order because she has to scan the code from the app. We patiently waited behind 3 cars and it took 30mins to get to the cashier then another staff was handing us an order which she soon realized wasn’t ours so she told us that we should go around the drive thru again to the end of the queue behind 4more cars so we could place our order. She also told us she couldn’t take our order that moment because she already punched the order of the car behind us. Our order was only a family feast bucket 10pcs with 4 reg fries and 2 sides which was that simple!! She even told us to come inside to the store to place our order on the till instead. I never ever had such a bad service and low quality food as I had today . It was completely unacceptable - was waiting for one order for 15min while all drive through customers were served firstly. Staff member had everything ready for my order on the table for 15min while chicken was still cooking,when asked to change fries to new ones as other 4 portions were already cold by the time they prepared full order,did not seem to be happy about it. There was 4 front desk staff members serving customers but playing with empty buckets and straws in their downtime. There was fries on the stairs going up that nobody was going to clean until asked to do so to avoid people slipping on the fries going upstairs.
