The Maitre D “IDE” is literally the most rude person I have ever met. We have been going to this restaurant for years - the staff are lovely but I have numerous times seen her shout at staff infront of customers. I have seen other customers complain how she has spoken to them too. She rarely if ever says thank you when paying or ordering over the phone . We have walked in numerous times and never been greeted with hello but “ do you know our closing time?” Which I may add could have been two hours later. I have always got the peppercorn chicken and the last three times it hasn’t been as good as it was. As we checked paying this evening I was asked how was our meal and I had mentioned it hasn’t been as good as previous times however, I shouldn’t have bothered. I was met with extremely rudeness, told nothing had changed with receipe and I must be mistaken. Then I was asked for proof I had ordered takeaways with the same issue by giving my phone number and we have be coming here 10 plus years. Ide continued to raise her voice and said she completely disagreed and I asked could I please speak as she interrupted and spoke over me. We paid in full for our meal and there was absolutely no sorry etc. just that we must be mistaken as there is nothing wrong with their food. Basically the peppercorn chicken used to be cooked fresh and be piping hot but now it’s just reheated, dry and not crispy. My partner got peppercorn prawns which are always cooked fresh and tasty as well you can’t reheat prawns. I rang back as I was so shocked with the reception we got and “ apparently there is no manager”. Seems like she didn’t wish for a complaint to be filed. Standards have dropped and total lack of customer service. A lost customer for sure - I really feel sorry for her colleagues and they are always so helpful. To conclude we paid 48 for a meal not enjoyed as usual and a horrific customer experience - I’d advise trying the sushi and chinese restaurant across the way...

I was heading into Annacotty anyway to go to Centra so decided to go place an order and when I got there I was ignored at the door for far too long.
When finally acknowledged I asked what the situation was with the phone and mentioned I'd been trying for 20mins and was told "we aren't doing take-away it's too busy, but because you're here I suppose I can take your order. It will be 20/25 mins" in an annoyed tone.
So sorry that I wanted to spend money in your establishment. How foolish of me to think my money mattered. I've been getting 2 meals there once a week for 18 months.
