By far the best pub in the immediate vicinity of the town, plenty of character and decent pint of Guinness. However, I left here feeling like I was not welcome, we came here on the tail end of their bluegrass festival, so perhaps the caveat is some staff had some Dublin fatigue. It was just one lad, not the other lady. Even still, a bit immature to give your patrons a feeling of an anti local perspective for a Public House.
Do stop in, genuine pub, it has a pool table and area out the front to watch the world go by. I believe there is trad music on Tuesdays, but we left prior. Maybe after they recharge hospitality goes back to what any public house...
