Do not be put off by the austere looking exterior of this excellent Heron & Brearley pub. Within lie four separate rooms on different floors,with 3 bar areas. A good five superbly kept real ales are usually on offer,several from the Okells stable. The pub is not the easiest to find,but is less than half a mile from Douglas promenade .Current landlord is a great supporter & stockist of...

Recently renovated and not bad compared to usual H&B attempts. Only one guest ale on show & staffing levels low meaning a wait to get served. Always been a good pub so hopefully this isn't the start...
