First of all the place is full but not packed... So it does say something.. I was having a sour througt so I was craving some soup After the last time I had that and got a microwave diner .. I followed my friends suggestion and headed out to the last refuge.. Let me tell you the crab soup was delicious although in some parts the cream over took the flavor.. I also had the rose wine it went well with the scenery..I have to add it depends where you sit . The crpatzio was yummy and it came with simple White bread bettered and garliced...let me tell you yummy.... I wanted to escape the heat out side it's not like I come here every day So I had the seebass witch disappointed a bit. Sticky but all in all nice experience.... After all that I still had some wine left and it is not polite to live wine behind. So I ordered cream burlesque I'm not such a sweet person so all that suger went strait to my Brain ๐Ÿง . Before I'll get my coffee and head out for my evening walk .. I'll tell you it's not cheap well for people like me ..but I had I good time Alone think how much the experience inhences when there is a group.. No pictures ...no time...

for people who like good food and know a thing or two about food- dont go there its a serious tourist trap! we arrived on friday night, after we ordered a place for 22:30. we asked for a table outside and although there were 2 free tables the waiter insisted that we sit inside. we ordered our drinks, sea food salad and the famous "house dish" which is a mix of sea food in cream and garlic. when our drinks arrived, we told the waitress to join us for a shot which she did, apparently on our expanse- 20 NIS added to our bill. the salad was ok and than we got the main "famous" dish- a mix of shrimp, calamari and 3 muscles we were horrified. the sauce, which seemed more like a soup, was cream and mushrooms- from a can! if you charge me 105 NIS (about 30$!!) at least don't insult me with can mushrooms and flavorless sauce. the fact that you serve the dish in a big sea shell (which the sauce spill from) does not make the flavor any better. we highly recommend- DON'T GO THERE! you'll just spend a whole lot of money for nothing and be...

Don't go there! Once this was a great restaurant, but not any more. The food is far under par and the prices are now very high. They try to continue to enjoy the good reputation they had, and give nothing for it. You can fool some people for some time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Maybe they believe they will find new fools to come to their restaurant all the time. This review is for more than one visit. After the first bad experience I gave them the benefit of a doubt. But after the last visit, enough was enough.

The appetizers that were served free before, are not free any more, and if you order them, you will be disappointed to find out that the salty "matias" fish is not part of them any more. Many of the main courses have changed, and not for the better. In most dishes some of the sea food is replaced by more sauce. Even the fish are smaller than they were before. I gave this restaurant five stars before. Now I give it a...

Service was good, but it applies only for the waiters who attended our table, not the rest. The rest ignored us completely; when we were leaving, they didn't even care to say goodbye although they were just standing and had nothing to do. Doesn't leave good impression on customers, especially after having spent that much money in a restaurant. The food (main course) was rather average. Maybe I chose the wrong dish (seafood on olive oil with pasta and it felt/tasted like Asian wok with seafood), so next time I'll try something else. The starter was good. The place feels and looks cozy and nice.

Grea and highly recommended place for sea food and fish lovers. The food is great and some meals are served in shell like plates which I couldn't resist! The only complain is when I called to check if they have free tables the guy on the phone told he doesn't know if there will be or no and didn't want to tell the current situation, he only said it's usually about 15 minutes wait. When we arrived less than half hour after the call, the place was mostly empty to our surprise, he could tell us this I guess

The food was amazingly fresh and tasty, which I honestly wasn't expecting from this place, since it is one of the oldest establishment in Eilat and quality is always hard to maintain over time. We tried several types of fish as well as the fried calamari, and everything was very delicious and fresh. We also sampled two deserts that were good as well. Service was also quick and kind. Definitely a must try if you are in Eilat and love fish and seafood.
