לוצ׳נה — Restaurant in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut

From the moment we stepped into Luciana in Modi’in, we were welcomed not just with a smile, but with a sense of care and calm that instantly transported us into a tucked away Italian retreat. The ambiance, elegant yet cozy set the stage for what would become one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

The service was impeccable. The waitstaff wasn’t just polite they were truly passionate. They spoke about the dishes like old friends telling stories, gently guiding us toward what turned out to be some of the most unique and unforgettable food we’ve ever tasted.

We started with the Siciliana salad, a vibrant medley of arugula, candied nuts, and sweet craisins, tossed in a dressing so light and flavorful it felt like sunshine in every bite. It struck that perfect balance of fresh and indulgent, a beautiful way to begin the meal.

Next came the pastas. The Plin Polenta Pasta was rich, comforting, and silky. The Orange Crème Fraîche Tortellini was a showstopper, zesty, creamy, and completely original. We were in awe at how well the citrus played with the pasta’s softness.

Our main course, the drum fish accompanied by delicate mushroom tortellini, was a harmonious blend of earthy and refined. Every bite felt like a new discovery, with flavors unfolding slowly and thoughtfully.

And just when we thought we couldn’t be more impressed, dessert arrived, a classic tiramisu, done with perfect restraint and depth. Light, creamy, and subtly boozy, it was the kind of dessert you don’t rush through, you savor it.

We went for the Friday morning breakfast buffet. Food and service are ok. However they don't refill anymore after 11.30 - noon. They had a great looking cheesecake for dessert, but when we wanted to try some they said it was finished. Same for the cut fruits. I think for 69 shekels per person they should refill or offer a good substitute. Also realize that the veggie/fruit shakes are not included in the price and that's not very obvious - only if you look at the sign carefully, then you see at the bottom that it says in small font "7 shekels, not included". Of course I missed it, but at least they took it off the bill. There's no smoked salmon but they do have salmon saviche. Next time I go there I won't take the kids with me - anyone over 8 pays the full price. From 2-8...

לצערי כמנהגי פקדתי את המקום פעם נוספת ( ראו ביקורת מטה ) אכן ישיבה נעימה מחירים מאוד נוחים ( בצהרים עסקית של 25% הנחה על כל התפריט ) מעבר לכך אכזבה גדולה . השירות עצל שלא לומר ישנוני של נערות חביבות אך לא מאוד מקצועיות ( כן גם מלצרות היא מקצוע ) מנת הסלק הצלוי עם ריקוטה שומרת מבחינתי על מקום ראשון , טעימה , איכותית ומוקפדת. סיגר הקשקבל , שוב מאכזב מאוד. סלט איזבלה הוחזר כמעט בשלמותו משום שהיה חסר טעם , כ 10 פירורוים של גבינת רוקפור שידעה כבר ימים טובים יותר ושאר הירקות מחוסרי טעם וסמרטוטיים . מנה של " פטוצ'יני דיאבלו " מבטיחה חריפות ולא ממש מקיימת , הפסטה עשויה אלדנטה - , כלומר אנדר קוק. רביולי סלקים , במבט ראשון לא ניתן לזהות מה בדיוק טובע בתוך הרוטב הוורוד והטעים אך נגיסה ברביולי מפגישה את השיניים של הסועד עם בצק פסטה עבה מדי שמבושל פחות מדי , יחד עם זאת המילוי והרוטב טעימים בהחלט . לסיכום למרות כל מה שכתבתי בהמלצתי הקודמת מטה אני יוצא מאוכזב ומקווה שעד ביקורי הבא יקרה נס ויצליחו לשפר .

WOWWW איזו הפתעה נעימה ככה סתם באמצע יום מהביל בשעת צהרים הזדמנתי למסעדת לוצ'יאנה במרכז ישפרו במודיעין. לתומי חשבתי שאני נכנס לעוד מאותו דבר. אז זהו שזה ממש לא עוד ולא מאותו דבר. כבר בכניסה ניתן להתרשם כי המסעדה מעוצבת בטוב טעם , הצוות מאיר פנים והשירות אדיב. המקום קצת רועש וזו הטענה היחידה לרעתו. המנות מגיעות ממש מהר וגודל המנות מתאים לגמרי לחלוקה לשניים . הזמנתי סלקים צלויים עם ריקוטה ופקן סיני . איזו מנה נהדרת ומדוייקת , גבינת ריקוטה במרקם של עננים ובטעם עדין ומדויק והשילוב של כל מרכיבי המנה גורם לך ללקק את הצלחת מילולית. המנה השניה שהוזמנה סיגר קשקבל ושקדים על יוגורט נראית מבטיחה אבל לא באמת מקיימת, סיגר די סתמי במילוי חד ממדי וחסר טעם וגם היוגורט לא מוסיף יותר מדי. כמו כן הוזמן סלט איזבלה שזה סלט של עלי אנדיב סגול עם אגס , אגוזי מלך והמון גבינה כחולה , הסלט נהדר למרות שהאנדיב ייבש השילוב של כלל המרכיבים עובד נהדר והרוטב של דבש ולימון מחמיא מאוד לסלט. גם כאן הייתה תחרות על חיסול הצלחת ...והיא צלחת גדולה מאוד . כמו כן הוזמנו פילה דניס צלוי , בהחלט טעים וסביר אך לא מעבר לכך ומנה של מוסר ים על ניוקי תפ"א . המנה הגיע כשהדג לא עשוי מספיק הוחזרה למטבח ולאחר תיקון חזרה כשהיא נראית נהדר וטעימה ממש . הבעיה היחידה במנה הזו היא ריבוי של ניוקי שנותר בצלחת לאחר אכילת הדג ומאבד מערכו וממראהו . והמחיר ...בדיחה שילמנו 330 ש"ח ל 4 סועדים . לסיכום ממש ממליץ...
