If you are a Brit in Tel Aviv and desperate for good old English pub grub and you love beer then this is the place for you. Chips, steaks, burgers and more stodge. Bread on the side and beer, did I say BEER? Because there is gallons of the stuff. Get the tasting experience, it's well worth it. I travel nationally and internationally with my well trained dog, but the manager insisted I tie her to a pole while sitting outside - he was extremely rude, dismissive and showed a clear hate for animals - Jem's relies on customers like myself who buy their Beer and now all I wanted was to experience the restaurant - pity their managers self importance issues has cost them a customer. Read moreJem's Modiin is nice spot to sit down and enjoy some food. The ambience is nice, good music and excellent beer (thanks to Jem's brewery).
There are quite a lot of options on the menu, and they are quite well done. Don't expect any fancy food, just staples - fried breaded chicken (Schnitzel), Grilled half-chicken, excellent panini sandwiches, and more. Lots of appetizers as well (self made onion rings in batter are awesome)
So why only 4 stars? The menu hasn't updated in 6 years... Jem's can really use a small change to make it more...
