It's a long review. The bottom line is I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there if you want to k ow why, read my very honest review below.
I wanted to take my family to a chef restaurant, you know, the type of restaurants that once you are stepping into the restaurant you're getting a different feeling. A restaurant that have special environment when every kettle detail was taken in consideration. And above all, you want this restaurant to have colorful food with flavors and combinations that you've never seen or ate before.
I go to chef restaurants often, my mom, sister and grandmother can't, because they can't afford it. So I intended to bring them for a whole chef restaurant experience, while it looked, felt and tasted no different than a below average standard grill restaurant.
The bill was about $500 , which I don't mind I know what to expect. Last week I went to a different and real Chef restaurant in Rehovot, the bill was about the same (for the same amount of people) , but even if the bill was double I wouldn't mind, because I got value for my money.
Meatos was a complete disappointment, we went I to the restaurant it looked like a war zone, waiters running around, the place was packed and there was no space between the table, like every square inch of the restaurant real estate was used, it was terrible.
Oh, and the food.. AVARAGE MINUS
Save your money and just go to a standard grill restaurant, you'll eat better, enjoy more from the environment and pay 1/3 than what you'll pay there.
If you're looking g for a real Chef restaurant, Israel as a lot to offer, pick one just not Meatos, I was never that's...

Very limited menu choices. Out-bloody-rageous expensive prices, in particular for wine bottles.
Bread Basket (or foccacia) 29โช.
Spaghetti Bolognese --79ืฉ. Tasted like food from a children menu or straight out of a can of Chef Boyardee; thick, sweet tomato sauce (or was it ketchup based?) on soggy overcooked noodles with no visible evidence of animal protein. Where is the beef?
Very plain 300gr Hamburger on a dry bun --89โช.
My Hanger Steak --159โช was quite tender, tasty and perfectly cooked but the portion was far from being overly generous in size while the side of "british" potatoes (oven baked potato wedges) had a horrible icky, harsh metallic taste.
We had the eggplant "carpaccio" in tehina sauce which was quite good.
We also ordered the Salmon Filet glazed in miso with sauteed vegetables 100โช. The salmon was a tiny piece of fish, less than 150gr. We complained and got compensated after 15 minutes with free additional salmon and vegetables.
Lastly, the Chicken Salad was inedible, the meat chunks extraordinarily dry, way too salty and bitter from the burnt teriaky sauce it was marinated in.
We finished with 2 cloyingly sweet and perfectly bland Parve Desserts --42โช each.
Yes we were ripped-off. Still, we had a good family time despite the food and the lack of choice as kosher food was a requirement...

The restaurant's menu is a true delight for meat lovers, featuring a wide range of expertly-prepared cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, and more. Each dish is made with the freshest ingredients and prepared to perfection, resulting in a truly unforgettable meal.
One of the standout dishes at Meatos is their signature steak, which is simply divine. Cooked to perfection, the steak is juicy and tender, with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides that come with the steak are equally delicious, with options such as roasted potatoes, sautรฉed mushrooms, and creamed spinach.
In addition to the amazing food, the service at Meatos is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests you may have. The restaurant itself is also beautifully designed, with a cozy and intimate ambiance that makes for a perfect night out.
Overall, I highly recommend Meatos to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Tel Aviv. Whether you're a meat lover or simply looking for a great restaurant to try, this establishment is...
