We stumbled upon this restaurant after a long day of travel, hungry and frustrated that everything else nearby was closed. We arrived just after 9 PM, knowing they were listed as open until 10, but when we got there, the owner let us know they had planned to close early since no one was around. Still, she welcomed us in with the kindest smile and said she’d happily stay open just for us.

From that moment on, the experience was unforgettable. The owner was genuinely one of the sweetest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. She told us we could order anything from the full menu, despite the late hour, and made us feel completely at home. Our waiter was also fantastic!

And the food was some of the best I had in all of Italy. Their blue ravioli was not only visually stunning but incredibly flavorful, and their creative take on tiramisu was a perfect twist on the classic. Also LOVED the cacio e pepe.

We were even invited to play our own music on Alexa and ended up staying well past the posted closing time. We never felt rushed, just warm hospitality and amazing food. I know I’ll be thinking about this meal for a long time. This place is truly special. 🥹 Thank you...

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home

We arrived at this cozy restaurant around 9 PM, not expecting much since everywhere else was closed (until June—and it’s only May!). To our surprise, they opened just for us and welcomed us in like family. From the outside, the place looks like a house, and from the moment we stepped in, it felt like one too. The warmth, hospitality, and care they showed made the experience unforgettable.

The food was hands down the best we’ve had in Italy. It truly felt like it was cooked by a loving mother — full of heart, tradition, and soul. Despite being the only customers, we were never rushed. Instead, we were given time and space to savor every bite.

The pistachio pasta was absolutely unforgettable — I’ll be chasing that flavor back in the States for a long time. The blue ravioli was a dream: visually stunning and bursting with unique flavors. And the tiramisu? A classic reimagined — it might just be my new favorite take on this beloved dessert.

We came to Italy for the food, and this place made us feel like we found family. A truly...
