Heretic Ristorante Braceria — Restaurant in Agropoli

We arrived at Heretic Braceria and we instantly fell in love with the place. As a man who loves his medieval history, you enter a space from a different time; you see a throne as soon as you enter, banners from different chivalric orders. The attention to detail was incredible.

I'm from Ireland, and I learned that the owner procured some of the suits of armour and implements from Ireland, which is awesome.

We ordered the Antipasto Reale, and words can't describe just how amazing the flavours were. I ordered the Scottona and my wife ordered the Maialino ribs. The meat melted in your mouth and the accompanying vegetables were a perfect match.

The desserts were works of art, and we didn't take pictures because we dug in as soon as we saw them. I had the pistacchio, and my wife had the white chocolate and almond dessert.

Overall, the atmosphere was excellent, the quality is excellent and the prices are honest. Staff were very friendly and engaging, and I have to say thank you to Melissa and Giuseppe for creating such a beautiful memory for us. We will see...

We were in the area and came to this place due to their great reviews. I must admit I expected a tacky place with no charme (this Camelot if you are from the UK). But, this venue was lovely, the staff were amazing and were patient with our poor attempt at Italian, the food was brilliant- my best steak in Italy so far!

The only thing I would say is arrive early to park just outside of the venue, otherwise it’s a squeeze.

But we will certainly come back if in the area, great place! Very welcoming, great food, what more...

Ero venuto qui circa una ventina di anni fa e sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso di vedere che in questi anni tutto è immutato dall'arredamento all'ottimo cibo. La location in stile medievale arredata con cura alla perfezione. Siamo stati accolti da Roberta e Giuseppe con molta cortesia e con dei fritti offerti dalla casa. Abbiamo scelto un tavolo tra il giardino e l'interno dove echeggiava una bella e rilassante musica lounge. Siamo partiti con un bell'antipasto della casa dove abbiamo trovato affettati vari, formaggi con miele, fritti i e fagioli. Il piatto si presenta bene e abbastanza anche da degustare in due . Piccolo disguido sull'ordinazione degli spiedini di carne che erano finiti ma abbiamo recuperato subito con un hamburger di chianina servito con tortino di riso, patate fritte, insalata di patate e verdure grigliate e con una bistecca di maialino selvatico anch'essa con patate fritte, verdure grigliate e insalata di patate cotta alla perfezione. Finiamo con due torrini uno al cioccolato e uno al pistacchio....uno più buono dell'altro. Ci arriva a sorpresa un digestivo (Gargamella) servito in due provette.....fantastico. Una piccola kikka....i menù vengono sterilizzati sempre con alcool. Consigliatissimo sia per i giovani che per i più attempati. Tornerò...
