Was taken here by great friends for a lovely meal. OMG what a lovely place. The views were amazing I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant with this type of scenary, the views were out of this world these words just don't do it justice, you just have to visit in person to see what I am really talking about. The food was amazing and you can tell the lovely amazing couple have put so much love and time into the cooking and into the restaurant. The authentic taste of Italy is right here. I have never been to a place that has it all. I can't wait to come back next year. They even do weddings here so I'm coming back next year and leaving a married man. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will definitely be coming back time and time again. Great place,views, food and drink. Authentic Calabrian Hospitality with Stunning Views

We visited Radici di Calabria with friends and were blown away by the warm hospitality and exceptional food. The restaurant is beautifully located in the mountains near Villaggio I Maggio, with a panoramic view and a peaceful atmosphere.

The owners, a couple who returned from London to revive her grandfather’s farmhouse, greeted us personally and shared their inspiring story. Their farm-to-table philosophy means everything on the menu is sourced locally, often directly from their land, with the menu changing daily based on seasonal finds.

We enjoyed a flavorful antipasti to start, followed by a steak with potatoes and purslane, and pasta with guanciale, mint, and zucchini – all incredibly fresh and delicious. They also offer homemade fig jam and grappa from their garden’s fig trees.

Bellissima location, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia con un clima fresco dove poter consumare sia a pranzo che a cena squisite pietanze. Ottimo per scappare dal caldo torrido di questi mesi estivi. Su prenotazione è possibile richiedere menù speciali ad esempio per chi preferisce piatti vegani o per qualsiasi altra esigenza basta una telefonata. In ogni caso lo staff sempre attento e disponibile rende l'esperienza unica, come sentirsi a casa. Il menù gira tutto intorno a prodotti km 0, ma in questo caso si parla di metri in quanto la maggior parte dei prodotti provengono dal loro terreno di proprietà adiacente all'attività. Mi sono recato diverse volte in questo locale e posso confermare che nell'ordine non possono mancare gli antipasti della casa, un tagliere pieno di salumi e formaggi con altri prodotti tradizionali del luogo preparati dallo chef, davvero ottimi di cui non resterete delusi. Per quanto riguarda i primi sicuramente resterete soddisfatti se siete alla ricerca di qualcosa di diverso, la pasta fresca preparata in loco dallo chef è unica e non la troverete da nessun'altra parte. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dall' entrecôte, succosa che si scioglie in bocca, un esperienza da vivere, in seguito ho provato una bistecca da 1kg ovviamente per due persone, che non ha niente da invidiare a quella Toscana, ma se potete non posso che consigliarvi di provare anche un tomahawk o un black angus che ho avuto modo di assaggiare e devo dire di esser rimasto entusiasta. Per questi tagli di carne pregiata consiglio di contattare il locale per non restare delusi ed essere sicuri di trovarla. Per finire non posso che continuare a consigliare di provare i dolci della casa, molto particolari ed elaborati ma non mancano i classici, in questo caso si parla comunque di prodotti tipici preparati da produttori locali.
