Caveau Ramen — Restaurant in Alassio

Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn’t match the impressive interior, which really makes an impact and perfectly captures the anime vibe – that’s actually what encouraged us to visit. Sadly, the food was not fresh. The yakitori was dry, overcooked, clearly reheated – definitely not prepared fresh. But the biggest disappointment was the ramen, which simply isn’t ramen. The broth tasted like water with some spices, the noodles seemed store-bought, and the bowl was overloaded with toppings – probably to cover up the weakness of the broth. A real culinary...

In fairness, I should probably abstain. I am not fond of Japanese food. The dishes are well presented here. The service is friendly if a bit disorganized. You will either like the decor or not. We gave it a try in support of folks bringing a new restaurant to the Main Street, which clearly needs less empty store fronts. Highly doubtful that we will be back but we wish them well. Thanks for offering forks to folks who aren't entirely happy with chopsticks. But how are you supposed to cut long thin strands of pork...

Non me la sento di dare meno di 4 stelle. Il ristorante è arredato molto bene, caratteristico, particolare ed originale. Accoglienza e servizio: voglio mettere in chiaro che essendo una domenica è normale ci sia pieno, ma una maggiore affluenza deve corrispondere una maggiore forza lavoro , più persone a servire. Abbiamo atteso 7 minuti in mezzo alla sala in piedi ad aspettare che qualcuno ci salutasse e facesse sedere, e 20 minuti prima che qualcuno ci prendesse l'ordine .

Ravioli croccanti, buoni, ben saporiti e decorati, takoyaki spaziali, molto bene! Passiamo ai ramen. Il mio ramen vegano prevedeva tofu fritto, ma purtroppo il mio tofu è arrivato dorato all'esterno, completamente "crudo" all'interno , molliccio e non insaporito a dovere, peccato. Inoltre, io e Gli altri commensali (totale 7 persone)siamo stati d'accordo tutti quanti su una cosa: troppo, troppo salato.

Tengo il punto dolente per ultimo, magari si deve ancora ingranare , migliorare ed assumere qualche persona: il servizio è praticamente inesistente, cameriere che "chiedete agli altri miei colleghi" alla richiesta di una semplice forchetta, cameriere che ti guarda e si gira, doversi alzare in piedi o chiamare a voce alta in due per attirare l'attenzione di un singolo cameriere: no, dai, non ci sta ragazzi.

La signorina cinese alla cassa è uno spettacolo unico, l'ho adorata , simpatica ed amorevole.
