Antico Monastero — Restaurant in Alliste

We were recommended to try out this restaurant and unfortunately, unknowingly turned up without a reservation. However, the maître d kindly offered us a table inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, since it was in the back, our cellphone service didn’t work and we couldn’t seem to connect to the complementary WiFi - the net connection was needed since the menus were available only through their QR code. This did lead to a bit of frustration on both sides but eventually it got sorted out and we could order.

They kindly prepared a pasta pomodoro for our preschooler, which though she enjoyed, couldn’t finish as it was way past her bedtime.

We tried out an antipasto and 2 types of pizzas that were scrumptious! Unfortunately, we were also tired and couldn’t quite enjoy this lovely restaurant’s offerings fully. Next time, we’d probably have a rest before as since the meals are freshly prepared tend to take time to be delivered to the table.

My other gripe, besides the being able to connect to access the menu, is that we couldn’t pay electronically since the terminal wasn’t working due to a lack of connection. Luckily, we had just the right amount of cash on hand to...

The food is absolutely amazing, crafted with high-quality ingredients and a lot of love. Every bite reflects the care and passion that goes into each dish.

The service is impeccable, the staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We tried several dishes, and each one was outstanding. The tuna sausage, the chicken, and the stuffed gnocchi were all truly exceptional, full of flavor and perfectly prepared.

la prima volta che siamo stati in vacanza a marina di ugento e soprattutto che abbiamo sentito parlare di Felline, che ora ci è rimasta ben impressa, grazie al consiglio di un amica che con il passaparola ci ha indirizzati qui. un bello scenario, tavoli sulla piazza di questo antico borgo,con lucine tt intorno a creare una bella atmosfera estiva.da subito ci ha accolto il signor massimo, proprietario,che ci ha colpito per la sua bella camicia "la più bella del salento" .il personale preparato , gentile e disponibile, velocissimi , coordinati tra loro, servizio impeccabile. Vi mostrerò alcune foto ..ma credetemi il gusto è ancora meglio ..abbiamo preso degustazione di antipasti mari e monti, caldi e freddi molto buoni e dai gusti particolari.primo piatto gustosissimo "fior di puglia" tipo agnolotti ripieno con primo sale..mmmmm e la tagliata rucola e parmigiano nonostante la mia richiesta ben cotta era tenerissima.. il dolce" tiramisciu' " presentato a torretta con due bigne uno ripieno con crema al caffè e laltra con crema mascarpone squisito, laltro dolce millefoglie con crema chantilly e frutta, buona, ma per mio gusto personale l'avrei preferita senza frutta. Se siete nei dintorni ,conviene di venire a trascorrere una serata qui ..il vs. palato vi ringrazierà. Rapporto qualità prezzo ok, quando si va via da un posto che si è mangiato bene , ogni euro speso è ben speso.
