What a disappointment from start to finish. Our evening began on the wrong foot with the waitress, who carried herself like she was superiore—as if we, the guests, were beneath her. No smile, no “please” or “thank you,” just cold arrogance. Instead of feeling welcome, we felt like a burden.

Then the food: online, the menu listed a wide selection of pastas (7 in total), but once seated, we got a menu with only the three pastas on it. That felt blatantly misleading.

And the water… We asked for a bottle of still water but once arrived we saw that it was already opened. It wasn’t even left on the table, but taken away and shamelessly used again at other tables. And it tasted like tap water so I think we were paying for tap water in a bottle. That borders on fraud.

The low point came with the bill. It was shoved in front of me without a word, while the waitress literally stood beside me, waiting to take the payment immediately—already asking for a tip before I even had a chance to check if the bill was correct. It was incredibly uncomfortable.

All in all, this experience felt less like a night out and more like a string of frustrations and disappointments. A restaurant that treats its guests this way simply doesn’t deserve a second chance. For the ones looking for a nice restaurant with excellent food and service you can go just next door to Tanit. I had the best experience there en the food...

I’ve been living in italy for the past 10yrs and know each region inside and out, and i’ve never ever had such a terrible experience in my life. First, our dinner bill was NEVER shown to us and the waiter added tips on his own, which was over €100, and he just showed up with the card machine with the total amount (including the tip he added for himself without my consent). Then we asked for 3 shots of tequila, then he came back with a €300 bill for the 3 shots. Normally i don’t make a fuss abt my bill no matter the amount, but i felt something was off and felt the need to check the bill for the shots. Then when we realized it was a scam, we asked to see the dinner bill. Then i quickly realized that i was ripped off €404 to be exact, from the dinner and the shots bill combined. Which is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Then we spoke to the female manager, who was in it on the “scam” along with our waiter, and gave me the €404 refund by cash because she had no legitimate reason to make that kind of a refund on our table, which i presume would flag a huge “RED FLAG” to the management. Overall, never in any city in italy or anywhere in the world, i’ve been so upfront scammed by the entire wait staff, and in such a newly developed area of porto cervo, to have this kind of a restaurant, is a disgrace. I never write reviews of places, but thought this was necessary. WORST...

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the start, I felt racially profiled as an Asian customer—staff were dismissive, inattentive, and made me feel unwelcome compared to how they treated others around me. The service was slow and unfriendly, and when the food finally arrived, the portions were shockingly small for Italy, especially given the high prices. What should have been a warm and enjoyable dining experience left me feeling singled out and disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic hospitality or value. Stay away from here dont waste your money or time and always check your reciepts they WILL scam you with the tip system. Me and my friend were scammed by this and when we asked for the manager for help she was very very rude and gave us a refund back in cash not back on our card which made no sense what are you trying to hide here?
