Update: In response to the owner's "reply" my rating still stands. I would give 0 stars if allowed.

Your lack of empathy and self-awareness for this situation is astounding. You intended to defraud us, so do not state otherwise and still got away with ripping us off and when presenting us with a bill almost 900 Euros over what we should have been charged, you doubled down and proceeded to make up prices for dishes which also mathematically did not add up. Your business practices are unethical and I feel sad that you aren't ashamed of what you do to target tourists.

"The discount applied is a practice that we adopt for all our most selective customers." This essentially means that your "selective customers" are the tourists you think you can defraud and overcharge and then when they complain you give them a "discount" quickly because you realize you won't get away with it that easily.

My main course was a lobster pasta, which should not be cold and you decided to charge me 350 Euros x 2 even though my husband and I ordered only one of those pasta dishes because we also ordered another non-pasta main to share.

if you look at your other reviews, you will see that people had similar experiences to us and not "everyone", as you state, is satisfied with your food and service.

Finally, we will never return and also asked the hotel we stayed at (very well respected in the area) to not send their guests here in the future. Absolutely awful meal. Food was bland, cold and tasteless. The service was slow and all over the place. Food didn’t come for a long time and then came out of order. When the bill came, they clearly tried to rip us off because we weren’t locals. Tried to charge 350 euros for a plate of spaghetti and a piece of lobster and they knew they were overcharging because when we questioned them, they immediately agreed to take 500 euros off, which, by the way, was only a fraction of the amount they ripped us off for. I would absolutely avoid this restaurant because there are far better places to eat in Sardinia that also don’t try to steal from their customers. The view is beautiful, but not a reason to stay for dinner. Tanit?...

Disappointing Dining Experience Due to Rude Waiter

I recently dined at Tanit, and I regret to say that my experience was far from satisfactory. While I understand that restaurant visits can have their ups and downs, the discourteous behavior of our waiter left a lasting negative impression.

From the moment we were seated, it was evident that our waiter was disinterested in providing good service. Their attitude was dismissive. Throughout the meal, they barely checked on us, and when we had questions about the menu, they responded with impatience or didn’t know the menu itself.

What truly disappointed me was the waiter's outright rudeness. It was an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere that greatly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.

I believe that good service is an essential part of any restaurant, and the behavior of the waiter at Tanit was unacceptable. While the food may have been decent, the overall experience was marred by this individual's discourteous demeanor.

I hope that the management at Tanit takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue of staff behavior, as it can greatly impact a customer's decision to return. I, for one, will think twice before considering another visit to this...

Made a reservation through our hotel tonight and took the 50 minute drive to the restaurant . Once we got there, the hostess (which was very polite) told us they do not allow children under 10 years old. When we asked to speak to the manager that he could possibly make an exception for our well behaved quiet 1 year old, he couldn’t even be a man to come up to us to explain their policy. He rudely waved his hand and made the hostess do the dirty work. Not only being illegal to discriminate against children, but at least have the b#%## to be professional and tell us personally. I have NEVER written a review in my life but as a restaurant owner in USA, I would have expected much more from a very well known local establishment. It was such a great experience! 🌟 The staff were super friendly and professional, making us feel welcome right away. The coolest part was definitely the new Dolce Room – we got to try different pastries with a patissier from Fabrizio Fiorani, and honestly, it was an absolute highlight. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting, it’s something really special! Sure, the place is on the pricey side, but with the location, service, and food, it’s totally worth it. We will come back.

Le premesse sono 2 : 1 e ‘ la mia prima recensione nella vita , non sono un leone da tastiera ne ‘ un critico di ristoranti . 2 mi sono seduto in questo ristorante e , scherzando con mia sorella , ho detto “ sappi che questa cena costerà almeno 1000€ ( cosciente e preparato ad un conto esoso. Accolto da una cameriera con un “ cesto “ pieno di pesce da visionare ( api e mosche ci accompagneranno per tutta la durata della cena “ . Hanno provato a vendermi 3 kg di aragosta che diventeranno 1.5 con la premessa che porteranno insalata , primo e secondo vista la quantità.. le api hanno reso impossibile la mia cena rinunciando all’antipasto , ho chiesto di annullare il resto ( 12 secondi dopo aver ordinato ) ma la risposta è stata “ e già tutto in cottura e .. non possiamo gestire la natura . Morale della favola : un piatto pieno di sugo scadente con dentro 1 kg di aragosta e 20 grammi di spaghetti , null ‘altro . Questo ristorante ( scandente nel servizio e nella qualita ‘) rappresenta la più “ elegante “ forma mafiosa consumata nella splendida cornice di poltu quatu . Una vergogna tra camerieri , qualità del cibo e accoglienza . Ripeto .. non ho mai recensito nulla né .. fatto storie in un ristorante eppure .. avrei chiamato i carabinieri .. Nessuna eleganza , nessuna qualità , nessuna empatia da parte dello staff ! Una rapina senza armi e con un sorriso viscido e beffardo . La peggiore esperienza della mia vita

La magia del piccolo fiordo. Poltu Quatu significa “porto nascosto”, essendo incastonato tra due imponenti roccioni granitici. Nel paesino dove le case bianche brillano del rosso della bouganville, vi sono bellissimi locali che si affacciano sul porto, tra cui questo ristorante di alto livello. Dalla terrazza è uno spettacolo ammirare la baia. Il ristorante propone piatti di pesce e di carne, noi abbiamo approfittato di una selezione di jamon iberico che veniva servito in occasione speciale. Per il resto, le consuete portate dei ristoranti eleganti della costa, con qualche divagazione verso le carni estere e selezioni di ostriche. Bella gente, servizio all’altezza, carta dei vini completa, alta rotazione dei tavoli, conto impegnativo.

Nel paesino dove le case bianche brillano del rosso della bouganville, vi sono bellissimi locali che si affacciano sul porto, tra cui questo ristorante di alto livello.
