MaMa Trattoria Pizzeria — Restaurant in Alzachèna/Arzachena

On their site it’s written they do takeaway, they actually don’t or at least they don’t do it when they’re busy. Wanted to get 4 pizza as takeaway, they said it’s not possible, it’s too busy, maybe in 2 hours. When we called 1 hour later, they said they’d closed the takeaway 2 hours ago. Unprofessional.

In the response to my friend’s review, a fair and neutral one, the person answering (who is actually the manager) lies that he did pictures to some seated customers and that my friend said to her that he will do a bad review. That didn’t happen, I was there…but hey, applause for creating drama against your potential customers. It is definitely better than the service you offer. 😅

Mamaburger was the highlight of the night, was it tasty! The burger was cooked just how I like it—medium rare and bursting with flavor. The bun had that perfect crunch from being fried, and those homemade fries...they were exactly what I had been craving!

The vibe in the place was awesome, even though it was jam-packed. Surprisingly, it wasn't too noisy, so we could actually have chat without shouting. And let's talk about the desserts, they were to die for! They had a bunch of homemade treats, but the tiramisu caught my eye. You won't believe it, they added pistachio cream to it!

Now, I gotta be honest, the service was a bit slow, but hey, it wasn't a deal-breaker. We had reasonable expectations, and the incredible food and cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. I'm definitely putting Mama on my list of places to come back to. Trust me, you won't be...

Pizza was good, unfortunately we were all violently ill after eating here. EDIT in response to owner reply: As I mentioned in my review, we became sick just after leaving the restaurant. We ate 2 pizzas for 2 adults and a 3 year old. We have all been sick since yesterday throwing up non stop.
