Snack Bar da Antonio — Restaurant in Anacapri

TOURISTS BEWARE: especially if you are a tourist you will be treated horribly. We were served by the manager himself and it was the worst experience we have had and we never leave negative reviews and are very conscious of how hard it is to run a business.

Upon arrival we asked if we could be seated at the table overlooking the sunset where two people had just vacated so we assumed that the table could occupy two people minimum but he stated that this is only for 3 or more people and he directed us to sit at the stools. Only to find out later that two locals were welcomed at the same table were enquired about. Not only does the restaurant manager treat customers differently based on whether they are tourists or if he is generally a racist but his response was utterly unprofessional.

When we confronted him about this and how this made us feel he raised his voice and lost his emotions in front of everyone at the restaurant and got very defensive that he got caught in a lie. This was really saddening as this really damages his business and we were giving him an opportunity for him to rectify the situation by communicating to him but sadly for him his response was not the behaviour of a responsible and professional...

Great location but treated very poorly by the manager. He refused us a vacant table mentioning it’s for 3-4 people but soon after let another couple sit there. When we brought this up, his response was to ask us to go elsewhere if we didn’t like it.
