My wife and I had a great stay here. Giuliano, the host, went above and beyond. He’s truly what made this stay special. He very communicative and will converse in English, Spanish, Italian. He picked us up from the port and gave us advice on things to do in the island and how to get around by bus in order to avoid costly taxi rides. He was very friendly and welcoming, and even scheduled us a last minute private boat tour. On our check out day, he shuttled us back to the port with all our bags (8 euros per person which was not expensive at all considering other options). We stayed at Il Faro room, which was near the pool on the property and the terrace, where Giuliano’s mom cooks dinner at night if you wish to reserve dinner at the BnB. Breakfast is also included in the mornings. The dinner was fantastic and the terrace has an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and include a mini bar fridge. The AC was also very cold, which was perfect, this was the only time in Italy we were not hot at night! Yes, the BnB is a bit far from the ports and centers, but it is a great location if you want some peace and quiet relaxing time. It is also very easy to get around on the bus or cab, or even walk down the steps from Anacapri center to Capri center (about 30 mins and 1000 steps! But definitely worth it...
Read moreWow. We travelled around the Amalfi Coast for 10 days and this was the best place we stayed. The property is small and situated in Anacapri - the best part of the island! It's high up for the best views, quiet and away from the crowds. Giuliano runs the property with his family and is one of the best hosts I have met on my travels. He really made us feel welcome and went out of his way for us - organising a boat trip, lunch, shuttles to and from harbour, and giving us insider tips on what to do. The balcony rooms are amazing, brand new, clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and fridge to cool your drinks. The balcony is very spacious with comfortable outdoor furniture and the views are unforgettable across the water out to Ischia and across to Naples.Stay for dinner - Giuliano's Mum cooks a beautiful homemade meal with local wine and you can eat and watch the sunset from the terrace. Lido del Faro is very close and there are regular buses to/from Anacapri town and Capri harbour. Stay here, you will not regret it! Grazie Mille Giuliano - you really made...
Read moreThe property is looking a bit tired and would benefit from a makeover. I notice that most reviews are at least 6-7 years old here on Tripadvisor. Without doubt the views from Il Paradiso are fantastic and Giuliano the owner is a great host, very helpful and easy to communicate with via Whattsapp when he’s not on sight. He explained all the best places to visit on the island. We paid £550 for three nights in June 2025 which included breakfast. Not cheap and certainly not four star! The free taxi to each restaurant we visited in the evening was a nice touch, mind you, you need it. It’s a little out of the way and thirty euros for two into town is a lot, especially as we needed to go several times during our stay. Capri is very expensive anyway. 18 euros each for a simple breakfast? Ouch!|Capri is a beautiful island especially the boat trips and the chairlift to Monte Salaro is not...
