A Complete Disaster – Avoid This Restaurant at All Costs

We traveled all the way from Canada to celebrate our anniversary, and based on our hotel’s recommendation, we chose Emilia Restaurant for what we thought would be a special, romantic dinner. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. While the view was beautiful, everything else was a complete disaster. The female staff were shockingly rude, unprofessional, and hostile, completely ruining the atmosphere and turning what should have been a lovely evening into an absolute nightmare.

Despite having plenty of empty prime tables, the staff deliberately refused to seat us at any of them, clearly hoarding them for no reason other than sheer greed. They showed no interest in making our evening special, and their lack of care and respect for their customers was blatant. They couldn’t have cared less about us, and their attitude made it obvious that they only cared about their own convenience, not about ensuring a pleasant experience for their guests.

To top it off, the food was abysmal. The risotto was greasy and lacked any seafood as advertised, a complete letdown. And when I brought the horrendous service to the attention of the owner, she couldn’t have cared less. She completely dismissed my concerns, showing no interest in resolving the issue or even acknowledging the poor treatment we received.

This restaurant is an absolute joke. It’s sad that such a beautiful location is ruined by such terrible service, unprofessional staff, and low-quality food. This place has clearly gone downhill, and it’s an insult to call it a restaurant. Save your time, money, and sanity by avoiding this place altogether. I wouldn’t recommend...

Premetto sono andato per l'anniversario di matrimonio. Ho dato due palloni perché la Locatin è stupenda, incantevole, rovinata dal vento, ma anche il locale tutto carino tipico ben disposto curato nella sua semplicità e soprattutto pulito. Gentilissimi nell'accoglienza, ci ha dato subito un tavolo che avevo prenotato qualche giorno prima, i camerieri gentilissimi ed educati, ottimo quando mi ha portato il vino ha sentito, prima di versarlo, il tappo. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti completi freddi e caldi, due primi e l'aggiunta di due capesante gratinate in più. Qui inizia le dolenti note, arrivano gli antipasti freddi, impiantati con cura ma purtroppo, l'occhio è un conto il palato è un'altro, capisco che ora vogliamo fare tutti gli Alessandro Borghese, tutti intenditori ma diamo a Cesare quello che è di Cesare, insalatina uscita dal frigo due secondi prima, uno scampetto taglia molto piccola con maionese sicuramente era un prodotto congelato, alice marinata che si sfarinava in bocca, polipo con patate buono ma come l'insalatina freddo, un'alice su un crostini con del burro. Arrivano i caldi ci troviamo 4 capesante 4 cannoli una porzione misera di seppie e piselli e raguse di mare penso che 48€ e 7€ di capesante uno avrebbe preteso qualcosa di più? Non so.... Arrivano i primi uno gnocchetto ai frutti di mare, con un trito di seppie e uno scampo sicuramente non fresco ma congelato,era nella norma, ma la cosa che mi ha dato fastidio era tiepido lo gnocco non è stato saltato a dovere. Le tagliatelle non all'altezza mi hanno portato come guarnizione le teste e le code delle cicale di mare che di solito si usa fare per un fumetto di pesce. Ho pagato 113,5€ per due persone, ho lamentato... penso alla proprietaria, e mi ha risposto che gli è dispiaciuto dell'inconveniente e se l'avrei detto prima di pagare non mi avrebbe fatto pagare i primi. Non è nel mio stile, se io pago un servizio di qualità mi devi dare la qualità, tutti possiamo sbagliare ma un briciolo di attenzione ci deve essere .... Rapporto qualità prezzo mi dispiace dirlo veramente pessimo scadente. Ho dato due stelle solo per i camerieri ottimi...

I was quite happy and curious to go this restaurant because a specific, traditional dish had been sponsored on TV: pasta with moscioli tomato sauce. To be honest, the dish itself was not that amazing, though good, and the best features of this restaurant are the location and the kindness of the staff. Fried fish instead was really super. Not expensive seen the quality of the products used, neither cheap. You will have to pay the parking too. Not sure I'd go back, since in Italy there are many restaurants...
