I think, I should correct "this or that" : Yes, the meals are tasty - and who does not like the hot spice should just tell them to prepare them "European" - problem solved. I wouldn't talk about "nice environment", but the restaurant has a decent and straight interior(!) ( there is no park around or something else, - just a main traffic street. Parking in Italy is an adventure - and the owners should point out clear spaces to park for the restaurant !!
Altogether the restaurant(!) deserves a good rating - but their ignorance of the outside is not OK, - look yourself on the outside picture - it is DESASTROUS !!! - and they are not willed to employ one of their many indian fellows for a 50€-day job and a bucket of paint to give it a much more matching outside - WHY ?????
Why four stars - and not five ? I am from Germany and we have in my town MANY Indians - so I can compare with my preferred tastes - and: I've lived for a time in AGRA, - so I know the originals ( as well the hot which please you two times ) Taste is something which can be difficult: My partner likes a really shabby Lasagne, which I can do ten times better, I do not share her preferences for Scottish breakfast - what I want to say is: If you clearly explain what you want - you get (almost) what you ask for - just try - it is advisable ...! ...and ... - do not manifest before that you do not like - coriander, or chili, or cinnamon, or... - just explain, get less and get used to it - it is not only really worthwhile - it is HEALTHY !!! apropos "Healthy": try "a salty lassy" ( a salted yoghurt drink ) with the...
Read moreMy visit to Punjabi Village Ristorante Indiano left me with mixed feelings. I called ahead to confirm their dining hours, and the person on the phone assured me that as long as we arrived by 10:30 PM, we could sit down and enjoy a meal. We arrived at 10:16 PM, expecting to dine in as promised. However, upon arrival, we were informed that they were no longer seating customers for dine-in service, despite arriving well before the specified cutoff time.
Disappointed by this inconsistency, we had no choice but to settle for takeout. The overall experience however was marred by the confusion over dining arrangements. The staff were polite in handling our takeaway order, but the miscommunication regarding their seating policy was disappointing and inconvenienced our...
