I am sorry to write a bad review for what seems to be the only authentic restaurant (not cafe) in the csntre of Ascieno. Our food was severely undercooked - the starter was fine, nothing spectacular but we were happy, then the main courses arrived - my sister's Beef Milanese was without the traditional spagetti and when she cut into it, the meat was grey and, upon further investigation, pink! This was sent back to the kitchen, i had already had 3 bites of the poached salmon from the thinner end of the fillet, only to discover rhat the thickest part was completely uncooked! The two young waiting staff were apologetic but clearly unfazed, the chef or manager did not appear to apologise or chat with us, we waited thinking my sister's dish was being recooked only to discover that no, it wasn't and thankfully they were not charging us. We offered to pay for the wine but they said it was ok. The place was quiet but we thought that was because it waa a Monday. Maybe the main chef was on his day off? We found this restaurant on a Monday as all other nearby places were closed. The service - a kid and a young lady - was really attentive and kind. We had a nice mixed salad and a delicious calzone. Then we had a cotoleta, a carbonara and a pasta ragu dish all of whice were good. Nothing spectacular but we enjoyed the meal. Ein echt günstiges Restaurant mit dementsprechenden Essen… Coperto zahlt man hier 1 Euro.
Der Kellner war super nett und sehr aufmerksam! Zu Beginn hat er uns eine Flasche Wasser gebracht und alle Antipasti rechtzeitig.
Die Pizza nach arabischer Art (also mit arabischem Brot) war sehr lecker! Muss man mal probiert haben (siehe Bilder). Die Antipasti auch super lecker.
Das Steak (Vitello) war mittelmäßig. Es wird Medium gebracht. Sagt also auf jeden Fall Bescheid, wenn ihr es medium-well haben wollt. Es kommt mit viel Ruccola und Käse aber ohne Beilagen. Diese muss man gesondert bestellen. Wir hatten Pommes und Bohnen. Die Pommes sind hausgemacht und schmecken gut, leider ohne Ketchup oder Mayo.

WLAN Passwort ist sehr bequem ganz hinten in der Menükarte. Das ist sehr praktisch. Wer aber kein italienisch spricht, wird es auch brauchen, da es die Menükarte nur auf Italienisch gibt.
