Ristorante Bistrot — Restaurant in Asolo

At first we were getting upset because we were ignored for 15 minutes on getting menus. But after observing I noticed it's a family run restaurant with no help. The family is amazing and working so hard. I noticed several non itlian tourists were so horrible to those waiting on everyone. I do think the food is a bit high in cost for what you get. But maybe the cost is due to the delivery cost and taxes in that region. The food was amazing though. Soooo much. I wish there was more on our plates. We loved visiting asolo and will be back for sure and go back to this restaurant. It's very beautifully designed too. (And super sorry puppy 🐶) Lovely run family restaurant with very flavorful food. Please be kind to them. They are working hard. I wish the tourists were nicer 😪 😕 😔. ((We live in Italy and love trying new town's. The restaurant is located in a street near the main square of the town. From outside it doesn't tell you much but inside the decor and setting are cared in every detail.

The waiters were attentive, nice and friendly. We were offered an appetizer and a digestive.

I am a vegetarian, so I asked for a salad and they were very accomodating.

Apart from seafood, they also have meat dishes.

E’ un vero peccato che un luogo potenziale in uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia, iconica vetrina turistica a livello mondiale, possa cadere così in basso a causa di una totale indisponenza della titolare completamente infastidita dalla presenza di bambini a tavola, facendo sentire anche i loro genitori a disagio per portarli in un luogo così, che dovrebbe considerarsi accessibile a qualsiasi fascia e genere di età. Persino il cameriere di sala al termine della cena ha dovuto scusarsi con i presenti per i comportamenti intolleranti della titolare verso i bambini. Oltre al fatto che il servizio è stato davvero scadente dal lato suo. Forse il primo ristorante in Veneto nel quale non ho sentito chiedere a seguito del pagamento se era gradito un digestivo, o perlomeno un caffè! Adoro Asolo in tutte le sue sfaccettature culinarie e turistiche e mi duole veramente pensare che possa essere esistere un ristorante così.. largo alle novità, alle nuove generazioni, ai sorrisi e alla voglia di creare con cordialità e gentilezza verso turisti, persone locali ma soprattutto...
