Pizzeria Edelweiss — Restaurant in Auronzo di Cadore

We found this pizzeria after a very hard day in the mountains. It was the only restaurant open when we were there and we chose it because it is right across the lake. Luckily we found a parking space and we are lucky to find a table because after 5 minutes where we sat was full.Unfortunately they took too long to come for the order and even more to bring us our dishes. There was no organization from any person in this business. Also all of them were ironic and inadequate to serve you. All the tables had a problem with their orders. Some moment they served us, but they didn't bring our drinks. We asked 3 employees but no one bothered. We finished our dinner and went to the bar to ask for our drinks.We went back to our table, had our drinks. We asked for the bill and again no one bothered. At one point a stressed out waitress told us to go to the cashier and find an old lady. They hadn't brought us a receipt. We waited 10 minutes at the cashier and no one was paying attention to us. They were just talking to each other and one was telling the other what to do. We got irritated and strongly asked for someone in charge or the owner. Finally the old lady came and asked us to give her our receipt which probably someone will she should have brought to our table. We calmly explained to her that we have not received a receipt and that we want to pay as soon as possible and leave.She couldn't find our account apparently and was asking us an outrageous amount for what we ordered without her knowledge. Of course we got tense and asked for the price list to show her what we have received. We paid what was equivalent to 1 time and she asked for a repeat payment and well that didn't go through. We showed her from the app the charge to our bank and left. Disappointment. I would say do not choose this business in the area, it is completely touristic and the behavior is unacceptable Also, what we ate was standard without flavors, nothing...

I’m not one to usually post reviews, but I felt compelled to do so with this pizzeria. Stopped in Misurina on my way to the hotel, and decided to grab some lunch overlooking the lake. I figured this place would be absolutely incredible as there was a line out the door!! Unfortunately I would soon realize the only reason there was a line out the door was because service was that untimely. Several empty clean tables, plenty of servers to wait on them- yet empty. I waited in line for probably 15 minutes, and when I was next in line- the hostess sat not one, not two, but FOUR parties behind me first. Okay, a little annoyed at this point, but I already waited this long. Finally it’s my turn, and the woman seats me. And then I wait. And wait. And wait. Another fifteen minutes pass by, a couple has been seated next to me. The waiter immediately comes to help them? Okay…again- I’m a bit annoyed. Now here is the cherry on top of the already bad service!!! I have one of my legs bent, sitting half criss cross applesauce (mind you I’m in a booth and not disrupting anyone or anything) because I had knee surgery. It was aching and I propped it up with my knee brace on. The same rude hostess comes over and annoyingly gestures at my leg and rolls her eyes. I asked her “what??” And she takes her hand and literally lightly smacks my knee to tell me to put it down. Finally- I figure the food must be delicious right?? No. The most underwhelming and overpriced food I’ve had on my entire trip. I couldn’t even finish it. The pizza seems to be the only thing people here actually finished. Worst service, customer care, food, and overall experience I’ve had abroad in my entire life. Would recommend you go...

This review would have been way more nice if our second diner at their restaurant wouldnt had be ruined by her waitress. I never had been treated like this by someone in a restaurant, i worked myself as a cook and pizzaiolo, i know how it can be stressful sometimes but behaving like she did is so disrespectful i cant let it go.

So, first day we had pizza it was good, i ordered wine, it was cold which is weird for us in France. Whatever. Second day, we come back as we were happy of our last meal. I ask the waitress n°1 if they have propose glass of wine from bottle, NOT cold, I asked her again to be sure she understood, she dont let me finish and Say "Yes yes". Im happy. Waitress n°2 bring the cold wine in a glass and im like there is a problem, she cant speak english and call waitress n°3. She comes, i explain really chill whats wrong, she goes to speak to W n°1, dont Come back until she have our meal and try to leave by ignoring me. I asked her what about the glass and here it goes, she dont let me speak and almost shout at me while i remain calm, i try again to talk and she left telling me thats not her problem and basically tell me to get lost. Finally W n°1 come back and just tell me "if you dont want the glass i take it back" so it left me without...
