Bricch. — Restaurant in Barlassina

It was our first experience at this place. It’s located outside the city, surrounded by lots of greenery—perfect for a relaxing day.

We came here on the recommendation of our friends, who visited a year ago and really loved it. We booked lunch and also reserved an afternoon at the swimming pool.

The interior of the restaurant is quite nice, and we especially loved the terrace. For lunch, we both ordered risotto—one Mojito risotto and the other with squid ink. The flavors were amazing, so compliments to the chefs!

There is also a set menu, but personally, I didn’t find it very inspiring.

After lunch, we moved on to the swimming pool. The pool and the surrounding area were nice, clean, and not too big, which made the atmosphere calm and relaxing.

The biggest negative point, however, was the pool toilets. They were unpleasant to enter—dirty, with no toilet paper, and really in need of refurbishment.

Compared to our friends’ previous visit, they also noticed that the grass wasn’t cut and the pool bar was closed, which was a bit disappointing.

I would also suggest adding some relaxing music around the pool area to enhance the atmosphere.

The worst experience of the year. 1) Nobody cleans the tables. 2) toilets are dirty. 3) no spare toilet paper on the toilet 4) total mess behind the bar 5) I wait at the bar for a drink, the boss comes, looks at me, opens the door to the kitchen (I thought he calls someone) but no, he goes into the kitchen and closes the door 6) no sense for people with allergies 7) my host asked if I can have chicken because I have high food allergies, they said yes and after one hour they said, they don't have chicken. 8) same with desert. They said they have "creme anglaise". I asked several times is it only creme anglaise, they confirmed positiv several times and guess what - it was with strawberries, so I couldn't eat anything. 9) even the bread was terrible. They cut the bread in advance, so it get's completely dry. Just a big mess. Never again. Even one star...

Sono stata un venerdì per tutta la giornata e nella speranza , visto il prezzo, di avere un briciolo di pace ma così non è stato. Allora il posto è molto bello e curato ed i ragazzi del personale molto gentili (un plauso speciale al povero giovane ragazzo che serviva completamente solo la piscina e che ad un certo punto contava circa 60 pax); va da sé che avendo una sola persona nelle ore di punta, il servizio è un po’ lento. Non posso giudicare la cucina perché ho preso solo un (buono) panino. Il problema è che per 2 ore consecutive nel campo da golf hanno tosato l’erba e spazzato foglie con delle macchine rumorose ed a 5 Mt dalla piscina; immagino sia un lavoro da fare spessissimo ma mi chiedo se non si possa fare quando non ci sono clienti che tendenzialmente in piscina vanno a cercare di rilassarsi. Altro (grosso) problema è stato l’arrivo di un gruppo di 6 ragazzi (quarantenni) alle 14 circa e che erano già su di giri all’arrivo; hanno iniziato a bere e ad urlare senza ritegno , correndo, tuffandosi e schizzando ovunque; quindi la piscina per noi persone “normali” è stata inagibile tutto il pomeriggio, visto che si son messi pure a far partite di pallavolo dentro. la situazione era talmente imbarazzante che sono andata dal responsabile a chiedergli di tenerli a bada perché non era normale una cosa del genere; mi è stato detto che non potevano far nulla (mi chiedo perché?..) tempo 1 ora erano ubriachi fradici e chiaramente correndo uno è scivolato e si è aperto la testa. Quindi è arrivata l ambulanza. Comprendo le difficoltà di gestire certi clienti (che per altro erano anche simpatici) ma credo che il contesto non era quello adatto, forse dovrebbero andare a Rimini o Mykonos per far casino e forse la direzione avrebbe dovuto “scusarsi” con gli altri 50 clienti offrendo anche solo 1 caffè , insomma facendo un gesto. È un peccato perché avrei voluto tornare con mia figlia e magari pranzare lì, ma rischiare un’altra giornata del genere non è cosa. Ps: alle 18 circa è arrivato pure il diluvio universale, quindi ci siamo riparati tutti dentro con ancora le ragazzi che urlavano ubriachi. Oggi mi vien da ridere, ma quel giorno non è per niente...
