Everything on offer was sugar and carbs: dry biscuits, dry slices of cake, cheap cereal, croissants, cheap yoghurts and jam, synthetic fruit juice, slices of processed cheese and ham. I brought my own pot of porridge and asked for fruit. The same old 5 pieces of fruit were brought out every day: 3 bruised apples and two old satsumas. Read moreWas there for a week for business. I was invited by a supplier while we visited their installations in Guastalla. I understand there aren’t any other hotel alternatives so one can’t get too picky... never the less, there are some basic caracteristics that a hotel has or it doesn’t. The bathrooms have been re-decorated recently, a bit small, but were well done and are modern. Unfortunately the hot water was an issue, either boiling or cold... impossible to have a normal shower. The TV was terrible. Not one channel in english or subtitles. No internet, imposible to check email or have a skype or whatsapp call - very hard to get work done.
