Sporting Feriolo — Restaurant in Baveno

Disappointed with service and attitude. We ordered salmon pizza with pesto and a caprese salad. The pizza was not baked enough and the salad didn't arrive. When we asked about the salad again, they brought us a plate on the 2nd picture. Judge yourself if a food priced at 12 euros looks like this. We ordered 2 gin-tonics which were good, styled in wide glasses; that was best part of this experience. After the food and drinks (worth ±50 euros), we wanted to go to the lake to cool down our 18 months old baby. It was around 36 degrees, our son was overheated, we needed to cool him down. We were stopped asking for additional payment of 2x 15 euros to access the lake. Since it was after 5pm we asked to make a special price for us since we were customers of the restaurant and we just wanted to cool down for a bit. The waitress refused, referring to her "strict boss". We proposed to pay something, but not the full price. The proposal was rejected. We stayed at the table next to the "beach part" for 30 more minutes. After that, some older man which was either a manager or an owner (?) came to us and told us that we can go to the lake now (???). He was there the whole time, standing by the bar, so he was well aware of the situation. We finally went to cool down our son, we stayed additional 15 minutes and then we left. To summarize: a) happy with the drinks; b) unhappy with the food; c) unhappy with the service; d) unhappy how we were treated. I must note that we were one of ±8 customers in the whole place (restaurant + beach). By refusing our proposal to pay "a fair price" for the lake access, we stayed upset and they lost extra revenue. It's incredible how easily this could have been solved to our satisfaction, but you rather created 2 very unhappy customers who will never come back, nor recommend your place. I hope the management will take this feedback under...

Ho festeggiato qui la mia festa di laurea desidero quindi sottoporre alcune precisazioni riguardo al servizio fornito durante la serata. Mi preme segnalare che la qualità del cibo offerto non è stata adeguata, e numerosi partecipanti hanno manifestato il loro disappunto riguardo agli "antipasti", rilevando che sembravano essere del giorno precedente. Inoltre, la festa, programmata per le 20, ha visto un ritardo nell'apparecchiamento delle tavole, che alle 21 risultavano ancora prive di apparecchiatura. Ho notato con disappunto che i camerieri si affrettavano a ritirare i piatti, impedendo ai commensali di completare il pasto presente nei propri piatti. Questa dinamica ha contribuito a rendere l'esperienza poco piacevole per i partecipanti. Non mi è stato possibile neppure scattare delle foto con la torta e godermi appieno il momento, poiché il cameriere manifestava l'intenzione di procedere al taglio con molto fretta.

Purtroppo, l'insieme di queste criticità ha contribuito a rendere l'esperienza presso la vostra struttura meno soddisfacente di quanto ci si aspettasse, considerando la qualità che ci si aspetta dalla vostra location e l'ammontare speso per l'evento. Sono convinta che con un'attenta revisione dei servizi e delle procedure, la vostra struttura avrebbe la possibilità di offrire un'esperienza notevolmente più...

Bella location, ma organizzazione deludente. Il locale ha sicuramente un grande potenziale: si affaccia direttamente sul lago, con tavoli all’aperto e una vista molto piacevole, perfetta per una serata estiva. Anche la struttura su due piani è interessante e potrebbe offrire un’ottima atmosfera. Purtroppo però, l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. La serata era poco frequentata, l’ambiente piuttosto spento e la musica scelta davvero poco coinvolgente. La gestione dell’ingresso è stata approssimativa: un gruppetto di ragazzini distribuiva tagliandini da 10 euro che davano diritto a un cocktail, ma il tutto sembrava piuttosto improvvisato. Una volta al bancone, la scelta di drink era limitata e la qualità scarsa: ho ordinato un gin tonic e non avevano nemmeno una fetta di limone o un qualsiasi tipo di guarnizione. Un dettaglio semplice, ma che fa la differenza e che sinceramente non mi aspettavo.

In sintesi: una location che meriterebbe molto di più, ma che al momento non riesce a valorizzarsi a causa di una gestione poco curata.
