B&B Ristorante Pizzeria L'Oasi Metaponto (Matera) — Restaurant in Bernalda

We were told bus 1 km, well bus is in front, but the hotel does not sell tickets!! The bus 1 km away is hourly. Then we had to take another bus to Rome!! Took 2 hrs. Came home via bus, train and taxi, cost 70 Euro!! It is the most inconvenient hotel I have ever stayed at. The desk would not even help us to our room, which was weirdly located. The net did not work. The breakfast was the worst we have had in Rome.. think machine tea and coffee, and croissants and jam, and 2nd rate cereal, with little choice. On top, we were told we could only use half our room!!! Go Figure. So we had booked 4 nights, and were told we could not get last night money back. It is cheaper to leave and pay, given the cost of taxi's than to stay.. NEVER AGAIN!! LACKS service and location. We also talked to other guests who were equally upset!! 1 km to food as well, and no choices.. although the food was excellent...

we came in september and the whole area was closed in metaponte lido. it looked like a ghosttown. One place we found was L'Oasi. The price was cheep, as the B&B was directly at the sea. Which was perfect.||||If you are not looking for any comfort and just want to be by the sea, this is perfect. But it is not very comfortable, the beds are soft and you hear all night the airconditioning or the freezer. So there is not a lot of sleep.||||But it was good enough for the price, for the location.||||We ate in the restaurant. It was ok. We are vegetarians and the waiter asked whether we eat fish. We do. So he came, with a seafood special with pasta. I am not very good in seafod and fish, but if I get seafood served I'd love to know. The result was, I haven't had a sleepless night just because of the sounds from airconditioning I had it as well because my stomache wasn't allright have...
