Carpe Diem — Restaurant in Bordighera

Carpe Diem is a convenient lunch stop just off the Autostrade at the Bordighera exit. I have been eating here for years. Sadly on this visit the menu servings and prices have changed somewhat. All good, just make sure you know - the adress on googlemaps not quite right - the restaurant is actually about 1 km further up the road just below the church Parrocchia dei Santi Pietro e Paolo (see screen shots)

There are ample parking spots near the restaurant, the view from the outside...

On y parle le français, Nous sommes en terrasse le 3 avril 2025, il y fait bon vivre, bien au chaud avec une vue sur les montagnes enneigées et la mer qui brille pour ne pas l'oublier. Mi-juillet, du 30°, une légère brise nous rafraîchit sous cette tonnelle avec une vue panoramique. Nous ne sommes pas là pour la vue. L'accueil est simple, courtoisie de rigueur, tous se bougent du comptoir ,salle et cuisine. Les plats, sont terriblement bons, grâce à une harmonie des goûts, ne pas mélanger trop d'ingrédients Un très bon moment dans ce lieu. Attention, pensez à téléphoner car en soirée, l'endroit étant connu, il est complet,ou les fêtes d'été, où, la restauration est fermée,vous aurez des panini et des boissons.
