Pizza al taglio da Paolo — Restaurant in Brescia

Came to this place as it was one of the only ones open due to holidays, left having eaten the best (sliced) pizza in my life, period.

I have travelled Italy now for just over a week and seen and eaten a lot of good pizza's as well, But, I am fairly certain that I won't beat this. Great taste, great toppings, great variety, well prepared. It ticks all the boxes.

And on top of that, the atmosphere of the place is great as well. Paolo is unbelievable enthusiastic and welcoming and the place is decorated in a wonderful way showing lots of character.

I would recommend everyone to visit this place when in the neighborhood. Prices are great as well, I left having spent €9,50 having had two big chunks of pizza...

I have traveled and tasted pizza from Chicago, New York, Rome, Sicily but Paulo is simply the best. It’s not just eating pizza, it’s an experience. The different variations of pizza will always leave me wanting more but when I leave back to America, I will have tasted the #1 pizza on this planet. Paulo and his wife were most generous and patient with our lack of Italian speaking skills. My friends and I were treated with the most dignity and respect, it felt like we were at home. We ate pizza, drank, celebrated but we will never forget about the friendship we created...

Entriamo in 4 io mio marito e le mie due figlie di 11 e 9 anni. C’erano solo due ragazzi già serviti che attendevano che si scaldasse la loro pizza. Nessuna fila dietro di noi, eravamo i soli a dover ordinare (quindi nessuna fretta). Io ho avuto un piccolo tentennamento chiedendo di avere un pezzo di pizza più piccolo ed ho subito notato che la signora si è indispettita. Proseguendo con l’ordine la mia bambina mi ha chiesto di far tagliare la pizza in due, a quel punto le testuali parole della SIGNORA rivolte a una bambina di 9 anni sono state “MA LE FAI FINIRE DI FARE QUESTO CAZXO DI ORDINE”. Si, questa frase ad una bambina e senza nessun motivo perché poverina era seduta sullo sgabello poco più in là buona buona ed era la prima cosa che diceva. Inutile dire che siamo usciti senza concludere l’ordine. Consiglio vivamente di cambiare mestiere o di chiudere la domenica invece che riversare la propria frustrazione sui...
